アテネオリンピックで銀メダルを獲得した韓国女子ハンドボールチームの結成から本戦までを描いた作品です。
ベテラン選手が現役に復帰するのは生活のためだったり、「自尊心は捨てた」と言いながら自尊心が全てだったりと、
若い選手達にはない人生の機微が見え隠れしています。
脇役やカメオ出演にも力量優れた俳優が出演しており、韓国映画ファンなら文句なく必見でしょう。
映画そのものの出来は星4.5です。日本人でも楽しめる傑作だと思います。

問題はDVDの販売にあります。
この通常版は特典映像の類が一切ありません。
「あっ、この俳優どこかで見たな?」という一種の既視感は韓国映画につきものですが、
キャストのプロフィールすら紹介されていないため、非常に不便を感じます。
DVDを挿入すると延々と他の映画の宣伝が流されます。映画館より長いのではないでしょうか。
男子ハンドボールの宮崎選手の宣伝が封入されているのにはもはや失笑するしか・・

これで5040円ですよ!?
今時特典映像もないDVDなら、市場が狭い韓国映画でも初回版でも2000円以下が相場ではないでしょうか。
3000円は広告費です。
以前も韓流ビジネスに苦言を呈したことがありますが、
こんなに消費者をナメた商売を続けるならば、韓流ビジネスは自らの首を絞め続けていることを自覚すべきです。

マイナーな球技であるハンドボール界の実話を基にした感動のドラマで，韓国では2008年1月に公開され，400万人を突破する観客動員の大ヒット作品となりました。過去にも，実話を基にした感動の大ヒット作というふれこみで「マラソン」や「クライング・フィスト」が上映されましたが，日本では泣かず飛ばずでしたので，あまり期待しないで見ることにしました。

ところが見てビックリ，本作は，ラストとなるアテネオリンピックでの試合のシーンだけが実話を基にしていて，他の部分はすべて“実話”をモチーフにしたフィクションだったのです。
結果としては，それほど新鮮な内容ではありませんが、２時間の中にドラマが凝縮され，韓国的な笑いと情をたっぷり感じることができる，最高にハートフルな作品です。
ドラマでは「生涯最高の瞬間」とは、努力をした者だけに与えられるもので，努力しない者には「生涯最高の瞬間」は有り得ないと訴えているのですが，決して押し付けがましくなく，むしろ好感が持てますし，最後には決して好みの役者ではない登場人物たちに感情移入してしまいました。
本作は，日本での一般公開は無く，いきなりのＤＶＤリリースで驚いていますが，韓国でのヒット作が必ずしも日本ではヒットしないと悟ったのかもしれませんね。
でもこの作品に限っては，ムン・ソリ、キム・ジョンウン、キム・ジヨンのアジュンマパワー全開，“本物の感動作”に仕上がっていると思いますよ。

最初に観たときはちょっと拍子抜けのような感じがしました。
しかし、２回目に観たときは、チームや新任監督達とのまとまりや信頼関係が出来ていく
様子に感動させられ良かったと思います。
個人的には、涙が流れる直前で止まったこと、日本語吹き替え版もあったらなという希望も
あり、評価をひとつ落としました。
でも、ハンドボールが好きな人なら、持ってても損は無いかなという作品でした。
