簡潔に説明すれば、シリーズの基本は抑えつつ、環境の変化による新境地の開拓と言ったところでしょうか。
目立つ部分では、今作はオルガンが多用されており、桜庭氏の担当した曲でピアノが使われている曲はすべて本人が弾いたもののようです。
また、ゲームのEDで使用されるテーマソング「鐘を鳴らして」のアレンジ、ピアノは桜庭氏によって行われているのでファンには必聴ものと呼べるでしょう。
個人的には、ダンジョン関連に神秘的な曲が印象に残ったので、ヒーリングミュージックとしても良いかなぁと感じました。
開発者のコメントもしっかりと載っており、作曲者である桜庭氏と青山氏のコメントが珍しく好感のあるものだったのが嬉しかったです。
ただ、ひとつ残念だったのが「鐘を鳴らして」のゲームサイズ版が収録されていなかったことです。
avexから発売されたTOL、ラタトスクのサントラはこれをしっかりと抑えていただけに非常に残念です（シングルの方にも収録されていません）。
わざわざワーナーレーベルから出したのに、これでは面目がありません。 良い曲なだけに非常に残念です。悔しい。

ゲームはキャラソンというグッズはないですよね?作って欲しいです。
ユーリのテーマ=闘いの火蓋(序盤に流れる雑魚バトルBGM)だな、と思います。聞いてると彼の過激な人生をイメージしちゃうんですよf^_^; 闘いの火蓋んベースにしてそのリズムでユーリが歌う…想像すると興奮しちゃう
