アニメカラーに近い配色になり、USAエディションとして発売されました。
ビークルはG1時とは変わり、S.W.A.Tの装甲車にトランスフォームします。
サイレン音、銃撃音、走行音の３種のサウンドが内蔵されており、鳴らすと機銃部が光ります。
このギミックのおかげでコロ走行するだけでも楽しいです。

ロボ形態は可動、スタイル共によくできており、ポーズが決まります。
デザインも尖ったショルダーアーマーやシールド、スプリングで飛び出すライフルなど、
現代風にアレンジされていてカッコイイです。

合体できない、ギゴガゴ音がないなど惜しい点も幾つかありますが、
それを補って余りあるほどの魅力がこの商品にはあると思います。オススメです。

レビューサイトでも絶賛されているように傑作です。
とにかくプロポーションが良くてカッコイイ。
サウンドギミックが３種類あり、サイレン音、砲撃音、転がしたときに走行音が鳴ります。
ライトギミックも搭載されていて、砲塔のスイッチを押すごとにサイレンか砲塔上、ロボットモードで目が発光。

この国内版では海外版では1回しか鳴らなかった「サイレンサウンド」が連続して鳴らせるよう改善されています。おそらくサイレン音を鳴らすというのが海外ではトラブルになるからでしょうか？とにかく完璧という出来です。砲筒の部分など、ムービーシリーズのようにやや耐久性に心配がある箇所があったので星−１です。

USAエディションシリーズは今までのシリーズとは別のラインになります。大きめのトランスフォーマーが好きな人用となっています。音が出るのでかっこ良いです。変身はすこし難しいです。ボリュームがあるので見栄えがしますが、少し場所をとります。その辺好き嫌いがわかれます。
