marble半年振りのニュー・シングル。今回は久々にひだまりスケッチのED。
なのだが、TVで流れてると「ああ、いいなあ」と思うけど
実際聴くとアニソンっぽさゼロなのは相変わらず。こういう楽曲制作のセンスの柔軟さは
このユニットの個性の一つだと思う。どちらでもいける、というか。

ナチュラルなサウンドメイクと透き通るような歌声。
以前にもましてオーガニックな雰囲気がバリバリのこの曲は
正にmarbleの王道というか、単なる気持ちのよいポップ・ミュージックの一つとして
完全に成り立っている。　つまりは余計な装飾を捨てて、純度をひたすらに高めている。
真夏の夜空にピッタリ似合いそうなこの曲。
オシャレな喫茶店で流れててもおかしくないくらい。
ただ、オシャレ云々では済まされない気持ちよさがこの曲にはあると思う。
是非ヘッドフォンでじっくりと聴いてみて欲しい。　景色が、何かが色づくような。

この曲は野外でも聴いてみたいと思った。ていうか、そこまで行って欲しい。このユニットは。
定期的にきっちりキラーチューンを作れる才能は凄い。
また、「流星レコード」の3番目のサビはTVとは微妙に違い、そしてその微妙な違いが
じんわりと響いたりもするのでそこらへんも注目してみて下さい。
　今はまだ一部の人たちの局地的な人気に収まっているが、このセンスの高さなら
もっと先へいける筈。より多くの人たちの琴線に触れられる。　この曲を聴いて、そこまで期待してしまった。

流星レコードは、美しく、切ない曲です。
アニメソングですが、それらしさはありません。
個人的にですが、marbleの最高傑作だと思います。

また、カップリングの『ハミングバード』も素晴らしい曲です。
ハミングバードをタイトルにし、流星レコードをカップリングにしてもおかしくはないでしょう。

とにかく、どちらの曲も素晴らしく、買って損はないと思います。
