なんと角松プロデュースの3作品が紙ジャケ仕様で再発!長いこと廃盤で、しかも中途半端なボックスでのみ再発されただけで。待望!「キャッツ・アイ」の角松Newテイクから「Windy Summer」の流れはもう、神。素敵すぎ。

他のアーティストへの初プロデュースで、角松敏生の面目躍如となり、杏里というアーティストの存在価値を向上させた最高傑作に値する言わずもがなの名盤！

コンサートでも披露された「CAT'S EYE」は、このアルバムで角松敏生がアレンジしたバージョン（打ち込み無しの生演奏、真っ向勝負！）

名曲の「悲しみが止まらない」「YOU ARE NOT ALONE」も良い。

しかしながら、角松敏生が書いた
２曲目の「WINDY SUMMER」、９曲目の「DRIVIN' MY LOVE」、10曲目の「GOOD-NIGHT FOR YOU」
作詞 角松敏生、作曲 杏里の「LOST LOVE IN THE RAIN」に軍配を上げたい。

また、今回のボーナストラックの作詞、作曲、編曲は角松敏生。
ちなみに、このアルバムはすべてと云っていいほど、角松敏生の編曲。

本人はギター、コーラスで参加している。
演奏もすべて、当時の角松バンドで締めていることを明記しておきたい。

余談：角松敏生と杏里のツーショットがお似合いかな？

長らく廃盤状態だった角松３部作の復刻です。中途半端なベストやファン思いじゃないANRI IN THE BOXではやはりファンは納得しません。リマスターによって抜群に音がよくなっていてさらにＬＰに封入されていたと思われるポスター型の歌詞カードとカレンダー（０９年版になってます）そして若き日の杏里の写真ときれいなリゾートの写真が満載です。９０年再発盤は写真はジャケットの部分のみだったのでかなり味気なかったです。海辺のドライブには最適な１枚だと思います。
