FoZZtone、剥き出しの衝動があふれるミニアルバム「ワインドアップ」をリリース。
前作のアルバムから半年で届いた今作は非常にギラギラしたロックナンバーが勢ぞろいの作品になった。
「カントリークラブ」は雑多的な作品だったが、今作はわりと統一感のある作品となっている。
具体的に言うと、先述したようにどの曲もガチンコのロックナンバーに仕上がった。ミニアルバムだが、フルアルバムにも匹敵する聴き応えである。

まず一曲目の「茶の花」で勢い良くスタートするのだが、この曲、単なる勢いのある曲では済ませられない。
何が言いたいんだか分からないヘンテコな歌詞がバーッと歌われるのだが、
逆にメロディの方は実にフレッシュな、まともにいいメロディなので益々異質な感じがする。
なんというかFoZZtoneの個性を一曲に凝縮してしまったような曲で、いきなりぶっとべるキラーチューンである。
　その後も「春と鉛」を思わせるギラギラしたロックチューン「ラナウェイ」や
この作品の中では割とポップな、伸びやかな歌声が気持ちいい「U.Ｃ.」、
また最近のライブで既に何度も披露されている「The　World　Is　Mine」も後半につれバンドのグルーヴが煮詰まってくるのが堪らない曲。
　今作は全体的に今まで以上に歌詞のインパクトが高くなっている。

FoZZtoneの音楽は面白い。「茶の花」に代表されるように、詞の世界が一言ではいい表せない、
形容するのが難しいひねくれたものになっていて、
なのに楽曲自体はみずみずしいものなのだ。
今までの作品からすると割とストレートに聴こえる今作もきちんと彼ら流のひねくれだったり、
既存のギターロック（または歌謡曲）と相反する部分が沢山入っている。
必要以上にひねくれず、また必要以上にわかりやすくもしない。
このようなつかみ所のない音楽性がやたら面白く感じる。　

独特の詞世界と、柔軟性に満ちた振れ幅が広い楽曲センス。
作品ごとにそれが研ぎ澄まされている印象なので、否が応にも期待してしまう。
このポテンシャルならば、もっと認知されてもいい筈。そんな風に思う。

まずは、試しに「茶の花」を。これは決定的な一曲と思うので。ていうかめちゃくちゃ気持ちいい曲！

とても気持ちのいいアルバムです。
「一筋縄でいかない」といわれ続けているバンドですが
今作は難しいことを感じさせない
センスでこだわりを随所に見せてもらってます。

彼らの音楽を聴くたびに
安易な言葉でミクスチャーとか言うシーンが恥ずかしいです。
良き、ロックの継承者は
だれも、理解されないことを突っ走れる革新性と
継承できる音楽の深さが不可欠だと思います。

ロックシーンの大器を感じる
まさに、新たな序章の一枚ではないでしょうか？
大絶賛します

1曲目の「茶の花」がとてもキャッチーで、聴き応えある作品です。
どの曲の歌詞も変化球な感じですが、直球な曲で聴き易い。
それ以外の曲も気に入りました!
「カントリークラブ」が名作だったので、早くも次のフルアルバムに期待。
