もう本当に大好きなゲーム。
どこにスクワジル(リス)の家を建ててあげよう？
そうだ南向きにしようその方が日が当たって気持ちよさそうだから。
ちょうどヘルパーの家の横に空き地があったからあそこに建てて、近くにはヘーゼルナッツの木を植えてよう、リスはナッツが好きだから喜んでくれるかな。
あ、それから草も少し背の高いのを生やしてあげよう。小動物はその方が落ち着くだろうし。そうだバナナの木も植えてお猿も呼ぼう・・それから・・・
そんなことをずっと考えているゲーム。

家を建ててその造形に感心したり、オークの木陰で昼寝するモグラを眺めたり、池を掘ってはキラキラした水に癒されたり、
棘のあるアザミにピニャが触らないように柵で囲ったり・・・要するに、自分の気に入る庭を作るだけ。
草を生やせばミミズが現れ、ミミズがいれば鳥も来て･･･自分のプレイに反応して変化する庭がとても面白く、何度も作り直したり、いろんなことを挑戦してみたくなから止め時が見つからない。
庭のLVと所持金を引き継いで２枚目、３枚目、新しい庭をいつでも何枚も作ることが可能。
グラフィックも素晴らしい。
リアルタイムに朝、昼、夜が訪れ、天候も快晴、晴れ、雨、大雨、などがあり、サラウンドの効果音がライブ感があっていい。

そしてこのゲームには「失敗」がない。
全部売り払って焼け野原みたいにしてしまっても、草が多いという理由で牛が来て牧場として再生したりする。
このゲームをやる子供には「どんどん失敗するといい。諦めなければなんとかなる。」と教えたい。

このゲームは、自由に自分の庭を作れるのが魅力です。そこはとても好きなのですが、だからこそ、時間の経過と共に出てくる、妨害キャラにストレスを感じました。苦労して手に入れた、高価なピニャータ（家畜）を破壊されたところで、このゲームをやめました。
あと、ヘルパー（お助けキャラ）が役立たずばかりなのも、駄目だと思います。柵の中に入れておいたピニャータを、門を開けっ放しにして、逃がしていた時は、本気で頭に来ました。しかも、一度雇ったヘルパーは、解雇できないのが、さらに追い討ちをかけました。
アイテムやピニャータ等にカーソルを合わせた時、操作できるまでタイムラグがあるのも、駄目だと思いました。
期待して遊ぶと、がっかりするゲームだと思います。このゲームに時間を費やすくらいなら、普通に家の庭をいじってるほうが、有意義だと思います。
