前作も素晴らしかったけど、今回はさらにパワーアップしています。まとまりのあるサウンド、ツインボーカルの絶妙な掛け合い、甘く伸びが良くメリハリのあるＭａｔｔｙの歌声。
メンバーが「過去最高傑作」と豪語する通り、ＺＨの最高傑作です。
バンドが一体となって心底楽しんでいるのが、アルバム全体から伝わってくるようです。
未だに前ボーカルと比較するアンチ派な人もいるけど、こんな素晴らしい音楽を純粋に楽しめないのが勿体無いなーと逆に思いますね。

聴くまでは不安もいろいろありました。
メンバーチェンジの影響はどうなんだろう？
曲がやたら多いけど質のほうはどうなの？
１ｓｔシングル視聴したけどパンチ力不足じゃない？

そして何より･･･
「これから少しづつシリアスな路線にシフトしていくんじゃない？」
これが一番不安だった。
昔のようなはじけた感じにはもう戻らないだろうし、シリアスさを取り入れようとして中途半端な作品になってしまうんじゃないか。それがとても心配だった。

ところが、再生ボタンを押した瞬間にそんな不安が全部吹っ飛んだ！
ふつう１８曲もあると、中にはイントロだけの曲があったり、数合わせみたいな曲もあるもんだけど、これは１曲目のイントロからいきなりエンジン全開で、テンションが落ちない！落ちない！
「えっ、このまま１８曲やるつもり！？」と驚いていたら、ほんとにスローな曲がひとつもないまま最後まで突っ切ってしまった！
テンションの高さは「ＭＦＺＢ」級で、音楽性は「プレイメイト〜」の陽性路線。作り込みと演奏力は「ブロードキャスト〜」、アートワークのかっこよさは「ウェイスト〜」レベル。
もうこれ以上に何を望めと。

そしてもうひとつ重要なポイントとして、メンバーの仲が明らかに良くなってる！掛け合いが多いし、ライブでファンも一緒になって声を出せる箇所が随所にある。
前作に「悪くないけど物足りない･･･」という微妙な反応を示していたファンが、「これこれ！これがゼブラだよ！」と喜んでいる姿が目に浮かぶ。アルバムとしてのまとまりは悪いけど、そんなの全く問題じゃない。

保障します。「プレイメイト〜」で初めてこのバンドを知ったときの、「うわ、なんか凄い勢いのバンド見つけちゃったよ！」というドキドキ感がもう一度味わえます！

Californiaのメロディック・パンク/ラップ・コアバンドの6枚目。

本作は「MFZB」から出てきたマイナーコードのシリアス路線の延長で、
より強力になったバンドアンサンブルのもと1曲目からグイグイ高いテンションで畳み掛けてくる。
そういう意味ではSum 41の「Does This Look Infected?」みたい。
今回はポップで明るい曲や、バラードなんかは控えめ。

コーラスでの伸びやかなヴォーカルは、Sum 41のDeryckを思わせてカッコイイ。
ツインヴォーカルでのたたみかけは変わらず強力で、楽曲の出来はさすが。
ライブでのコール＆レスポンスが楽しみ。
ちょこちょこ出てくるメロデス的なユニゾンリフやギターソロは、
彼らなりのメタルコアへのアプローチだろう。

Californiaのバンドらしい、スカコア/ラップコア/メタル/メロディック・パンクの折衷具合が絶妙。
全体的に多彩な楽曲という感じではなく、ポイントを絞って一気に聴かせるつくりで
全16曲（日本盤は18曲）で１時間あるのに、長さは感じさせない。

「Playmate Of The Year」のパーティ路線を期待した人はちょっとガッカリかな。
個人的にはこちらの路線も好きなので満足です。
