内容紹介

前作「acoustic love」から約2年、作詞作曲を自ら手掛けるシンガーソングライター高岡亜衣の3rdアルバム!
今作では「フィクション」というコンセプトをきっかけに、かねてから映画のように情景の浮かぶ歌詞世界に共感し、リスペクトしていたAZUKI七(GARNET CROW)に、自身の曲に歌詞を付けてもらうという、新しい作品の形にもトライしている。さらに、サウンド面は、そんな歌詞世界をよりくっきりと浮き立たせる為にも、アコースティックかつシンプルな形でアレンジされ、全体が情感溢れるボーカルに寄り添うように構成されている。

2004年1stAL「Sunny」、2006年2ndAL「acoustic love」、2008年3rdAL「fiction」、と
もうほんとうに地味に地味に活動している高岡亜衣。
でも移り変わりの早い時代の中で、よくぞ3rdアルバムまできました、
なんて感慨深く思う古参GIZAファンがここにひとり。
GIZAっていえば一昔前までは、美形女性ソロシンガーが歌う
素朴で哀愁あるサウンド、ってのが代名詞だったはずなのですけど、
いまやそんな代名詞は彼女だけにあてはまるのではないでしょうか。
ドラマ主題歌でもある「こいはなび」や「ごめんね、今でも好きで居ます」シングル2曲はさることながら、
M4「Summer Flooding」、M9「心をつないで」、M11「夏のある日に」など、
いかにも彼女らしい哀愁漂う切ないバラードを輩出し続けるその才能は、
ほんとうにごく一部ではありますけどコンスタントに認められ続けていると思います。
なにより、ごく身近にありそうで、だからこそ、親身に共感できる詞内容がいい。
過剰なアレンジが受ける傾向にある今のJ-POPにおいて、シンプルに、
オーガニックに、と流行に惑わされない一途なそのサウンド。
作詞にAZUKI七を加えその世界観にひとつ広がりを見せていますが、そのサウンド同様、
どこか人間くさく、ほこりくさい物語に触れると、
なにか忘れ去った大切なものを思い出すかのような、そんな作品です。
