殆どがバトルクロニクルの使いまわしです。
前作で鍛えた機体とパイロットをそのまま引き継げます。
ZZ,νガンダム等を引き継いだ場合、数時間でクリアしてしまいます。
ただ、新規の機体も増えてるのでやり込めばかなり遊べるゲームだと思います。
ですが、前作で散々やりこんだプレイヤーにとっては似たような作業の繰り返しなので、ちょっとそれだけでは辛いです。

このゲーム単体で評価するなら、ボリュームもあり、やりこみ要素もあり、とても素晴らしいゲームだと思います。
クロニクルを持ってない人は買って損はないかと。
クロニクル持ってたら今作は見送って次回作（出るかどうか知らないけど）買った方が良いかも。

バトルクロニクルを持ってない方はかなりのボリュームで楽しめます。
その際にバトルクロニクルをやる必要はありません。
バトルユニバース＝バトルクロニクル＋αです。

プレイには支障のないバグが存在します。
パスワード入力画面の左上が「バトルクロニクル」になっており、
既製資源を有効利用している様が窺えます。

楽しさは保証できます。
しかしクロニクルをプレイした人にはちょっとガッカリな内容ではないかと思います。
それでこの値段はないですよ。

前作のバトルクロニクルを未プレイの方には強くおすすめします。
ボリューム、操作感など満足いくレベルだと思います。

ただ、前作クロニクルをプレイしていた自分にとっては収録内容の３／５程度が前作をそのまま使い回ししていましたので、これで5000円は値段に合わないと感じました。

今作の追加ステージであるZZや、逆襲のシャアのみでストレートに終わらせると数時間でクリアしてしまいます（隠し要素など含まず）

できれば単価をもう少し下げて発売するか、使い回しの内容にも手を加えてもらいたかったです。
