　ツインギターをここまで気持ちよく聞かせられるバンドは今やＧＬＡＹぐらいでしょう！ってくらいイカしたギターサウンド。イントロのピッキングハーモニクスはレベル高いよね。

ラジオで初めて聴いたのですが、何の前触れもなくイントロが流れたとき、「お?どこのかっこいいハードロックバンドかな?」と思って聴いてたら、TERUのヴォーカルが聞こえて初めて気付きました、「あ、GLAYの新曲ってこれだったのかぁ」ってね(笑)よくよく聴けば、確かにHISASHIのタルボ(ギター)の音だってちゃんとわかったんですけど(;^_^Aまぁ、とにかくかっこいいの一言、久々に刺激的な一面が見えてきたかなぁという感じです。

「ようやく刺激的なGLAYが戻りつつあるのかな」といった感想を個人的に持つ。
97年以降のGLAY黄金期に中学、高校を経た私にとって、最近のGLAYはどうにも好きになれなかった。
ハードめな曲もどこか昔のような勢いは感じられず（歳だからしょうがない部分はあるが・・）、
LAYLAなどの曲で「より大人っぽい感じ」になったと一部では言われていたが、
私には彼らが「こじんまりとまとまってしまった」印象しかなく、最近のスタイルが良いとは思えなかった。
だが今作はちょっと違うように思う。
別にハードだからよいというわけでは決してなく、
「彼女のModern…」や「MERMAID」等とは毛色の違う
「大人なりの激しさの表現の仕方」というのがようやく見えつつあるのかなと、このVERBを聞いて思う。
（あえて大人っぽさというのに引っ掛けるとすると）
ただ、目新しさや新鮮さという点ではいま一つ。
GLAYがどれだけカッコよくて偉大なバンドかはよく分かっているので、
今後のより研ぎ澄まされた洗練、そして覚醒を期待して☆は四つである。
どうせなら、大化けしてほしいものだ。
