アーティストについて

大阪生まれ。現在19歳のシンガーソングライター。天性の声質を持ち、自ら作詞・作曲を手がける新世代アーティスト。

4歳でOsaka International School入学。入学と同時にクラシックピアノを習い始め、8歳の時、『Sister Act 2(天使にラブソングを 2)』を観て衝撃を受け、ゴスペルを習い始める。
14歳で歌のレッスンを本格的に受け始め、2004年・15歳の夏、バークレー音楽院の5週間サマープログラム(5 Weeks Summer Performance Program)に参加し、国際的な環境の中、色々な音楽家と接し多くの影響を受け、“音楽”と“歌うこと”への興味がさらに強くなり、自ら作詞・作曲を始める。2006年9月に生まれ育った大阪を離れ、早稲田大学に入学。
2006年12月13日、シングル「Possession / My All For You」でデビュー。
デビューから1年、2007年には「ベストヒット歌謡祭 2007」新人アーティスト賞、「第49回 日本レコード大賞」新人賞を受賞。

au「ＬＩＳＭＯ」のＣＭを見て、サビがいっぺんに好きになりました。
歌っているシンガーを調べると、ジョンギリ？？？
ではなくジョンリという日本人でした。
お顔はお子ちゃまな雰囲気ですが、声は素晴らしいと感じました。
いかにもサビっぽいサビが絶妙で、背筋に響きます。
プロモビデオは、何だかネバーエンディングストーリーしていますね。
Unchanging Love~君がいれば~、これもバラードの傑作です！！
