　ビーチボーイズアルバムの中でも、最高に楽しいアルバム。元気のいい全盛期のビーチボーイズを思い出させてくれます。初めて日本公演をした時に歌ったビートルズナンバーも聞けます。彼らのコーラスは本物ですね。

　ビーチボーズらしさはあるものの、そして各人の好きな歌をうたっていたりするところはソウカ、ソウカと思えるが、カバー曲は結局オリジナルを越える出来のものではないので、ここでは雰囲気を楽しめばいいというところ。カールの澄んだ声やマイクのアクティブなリズム感や、ブライアンの内面の放出を過剰に望む必要はない。単純にバーバラ・アンでクラップして踊ろう。
　他に、ここでもアルはフォーキィぽい。デニスがジョン・レノンの｢悲しみをぶっとばせ｣を披露、デニスの隠れた面が顕著に現れている。

1→オリンピックスのカバー。何はなくとも「ハリー!ハリー、ガリー!!」が楽しい。2→ビートルズのカバー。カールとアルが楽しく歌っている。3→2と同じ。4→リヴィングトンズのカバー。「コンサート」でも歌った曲をスタジオ録音している。「ア、パパウーママウマウ」が最高に楽しい。5→ハロルド・ドーマンのカバー。6→これもビートルズのカバー。ジョン・レノン気取りで歌うデニス・ウィルソンが最高。7→エヴァリー・ブラザーズのカバー。ブライアンとマイクの素敵な二重唱。8→ハリウッド・アーガイルスの全米ナンバー1ヒットのカバー。オリジナルより気合いの入った歌だ。9→クリスタルズのカバー。正直オリジナルの方がいいかな・・・。10→このアルバム唯一のオリジナルナンバーだが、歌詞を改ざんして、自虐的に歌っているのでおもしろい。11→ご存知ボブ・ディランの名曲。アル・ジャーディンの歌の後ろでメンバーが大騒ぎ。世界で最もふざけたボブ・ディラン・カバー。12→リジェンツのカバーにして全米2位の大ヒット曲。シングル・バージョンでカットされたお喋りが入っているので、シングル・バージョンより1分ほど長い。総括→最高に楽しいアルバム。真面目な音楽が好きな人には薦めないが、とにかく楽しみたい、一人でさみしいという人は迷わず買いだ。楽しめること間違いなし。
