試してみたところ、音楽などもきちんと転送できます。
ただし、手持ちのMS-MT2G(2GB、SonyStyleで購入)が日本製なのに対し、
風見鶏様から届いたこのMS-MT8Gは日本語パッケージではありますが韓国製で、
MS-MT2Gには入っていなかった多言語説明書が入っていました。
フラッシュメモリに関しては信頼の置ける国ではありますが、日本製であることに期待してSony製品を購入される方は注意した方がいいですね。どうも同じMS-MT8Gにも日本製があるようですので。

今までPSP用として4GBを2枚で使っていたのですが16GBが出たのを機会に切り替えました。
1枚で用が済むのはやはり快適です。
転送速度はPSPをUSB接続で使うことが多いのでSDMSPDH-4096と比較してもそれほど気になりませんでした。
動画を見る、ワンセグを録画するといったような用途には充分です。

SDHCと比較すると2倍の値段なのが残念ですが…

3/8の発売の少し前に予約して購入しました。

昨年末に、出張時の新幹線などでの空いた時間の有効活用のためにPSPを買いました。
4GBではスゴ録で録画した2時間のテレビ番組が4〜5つほどしか入らず、見終えた番組を
削除しなければいけなかったのですが、16GBではスゴ録から7つ転送してもまだ9GB残っています。
各種メモリーの値段が下がっているのは知っているのですが、
リリース告知当初の約3万円という金額からだいぶ下がっての22580円でしたので納得です。
4GBを4枚とか、8GBを2枚買っても16GBになりますが、メモリースティックはちょっと乱暴に扱うと折れてしまうそうで、
頻繁に差替えるのが面倒になります。そういった観点からも16GBが出たのは嬉しいニュースです。

16GBのウォークマンでもテレビやDVDレコーダーから専用のクレードルを使うと番組を転送できると聞いて、
それならPSP本体より高額な16GBのメモリースティックではなく、
コンパクトで持ち運びやすいウォークマン＋専用クレードル（合計で6万5000円ほど）を買おうかと検討したのですが、
買わなくて良かったです。
ウォークマンのサイトには非常に小さい文字で「アナログ番組」と表記されていたからです。
確かにウォークマンでPSPのようにデジタルハイビジョン番組を転送できたら、PSPが売れなくなりますからね。
興味のある方は注意してください。
