ブラスタのジブリシリーズの第２弾！！！
第１弾が良かったので迷わず購入しました。
主題歌が最近話題のポニョも気になってました。
一通り聞いてみて満足度は８０点というところです、
ブラスタ独特の爽快感は健在。また、みんなが知っているジブリの曲集なので誰でも楽しめます。ドライブの時に流していると誰かが『あ、ナウシカだ！』とか言い出して盛り上がります。
ジャズが好きな人も、ジブリが好きな人も、ブラスが好きな人も一度聞いてほしいです。
個人的にはラピュタが一番良かったです。

ミニアルバムが続いていた東京ブラススタイル、今回はスタジオジブリ作品の最新作である「崖の上のポニョ」を含めて音楽を再びブラスアレンジしてフルアルバムで届けてくれました。

アレンジはお馴染みピアニストであり、元メンバーでもある野口茜、Btbプレイヤー津崎知之に加えて、CM音楽で活躍する寺田テツオ、そしてトランペッター羽毛田耕士がそれぞれ担当。今回はそれぞれのアレンジャーの個性がかなり強く出てはいるものの、どちらかというと当初、彼女たちの初期のスタイルであったビッグバンドジャズなアレンジっぽさが全般的に感じられるのは事前にコンセプトがあったのかどうかはおいておいて誠に不思議です。

とはいうものの野口茜のアレンジは知っている人なら「ああ、やってくれたな」とにやりとするくらいにインディーズ時代からのファンには馴染みのある雰囲気に各曲が仕上がっているようです。　

そのうちの１曲である「風の丘」ではどこか悲しさの漂うメロディーラインを、石川恵美が「魔女の宅急便」のイメージを損なわずに丁寧に仕上げてきました。
今年の夏は野外での演奏も多く予定が組まれており、自然に向かって吹く、彼女たちの演奏が響き渡ることでしょう。

重たくなく、かつ軽すぎることもなく、ＢＧＭとして調度いいです。
高速を走るとき、クルマのなかで聞きたいですね。
でも、きっと、彼女たちの雰囲気を味あうには一番なんでしょうね。
風の丘（魔女の宅急便）のアレンジがとても素敵です。
今後の企画が楽しみです。
