初見で私が感じた第一印象は「なんか地味なアニメだなぁ」です
このアニメは漫画が原作らしく、原作コミックのレビューや"商品の説明"を見た限り、原作は概ね好評なようですね
ですが、私が抱いた印象はやはり「地味」なんです
所々にアクション場面もある(ちなみに主人公とヒロインのファーストコンタクトも化け物との戦闘)なのですが、戦闘描写は良いと思いましたが、やっぱりどこか地味…
ですが、散々地味地味と言いながら、逆に派手だから良いってもんでもない!　分ってます!
むしろ、私はこのアニメは好きですし、話の雰囲気が丁度良く落ち着いていて好感が持てます
ストーリー構成も丁寧親切な造りで、ストーリーの中にいわゆる案内役(説明役)のキャラが存在する為、突然異様な場所へ飛ばされた主人公と同じく状況がよく分らない視聴者側に対しても不自然じゃない具合に"適確に"状況説明が成され、何気なく見ているだけでもストーリーに惹き込まれます
最初の内こそ少々ストーリーに動きがないかなって気もしますが、個人的にはオススメしたいアニメです♪
ただ、派手好きな人にはちょっと向かないアニメかな……

「大江戸幕末巡回展」を見学に行った高校生がその会場で鵺に襲われ、知らないうちに日本の江戸時代に似た世界「あまつき」に来てしまう。そこで過ごしながら元の世界へ戻る方法を模索するのだが…。
ごく普通の高校生が異世界へと迷い込んだ事によってスリル感が味わえる作品だ。戦いのシーンも多く、スリル感は更に倍増している。かつて「ふしぎ遊戯」という、やはり異世界へ迷い込む作品があったが、あちらは少女向けと言って良い作品であったのに対し、こちらは青年向けのロマンスや恋愛とは程遠い作品である点が決定的に違っている。一度全話を見てみたい作品ではある。

イラストや作品の世界観を見て興味を持ち、キャストを見て購入を考えました。あとは豪華版か通常版かでめちゃくちゃ迷いましたが、頑張って豪華版を買いました。本編も思ったとうり絵もきれいで、物語に引き込まれてしまいました。が！特典の映像内容が最高でした。遊佐さん諏訪部さん、福山さんのファンの方は必見だと思います。
