元祖は旧ゾイドの末期に登場した機体です。本商品RCZ版と、EZ版のどちらを買うか迷いましたが、結局こちらを購入しました。EZ版では体に付いているチューブの切れ易さが不評を買っているようですね。
自分は残念ながらEZ版は持っていないので直接比較はできません。ただ、本商品のチューブは、普通に引っ張っても特に切れ易いとは思えません。耐久性は悪くなさそうですが、もしかすると数年たつとゴムが劣化するのでしょうか？
胴体に比べて尻尾がかなり長いのですが、2か所で折り曲げることができるので、さほど置き場所は取らないです。ゼンマイを巻くと、背中の砲台を前後に動かしながら、口を開閉させつつ前進します。カノントータス同様、足が短いので移動速度は遅めです。黄緑色をしたパーツとシールは蓄光性で、暗闇でわずかに光ります。
スタイル・動作は数あるゾイドの中では平均的といった所でしょう。値段に比べてお買い得感は無いですが、少なくとも購入しても損はしない機体だと思います。
