　普通に見ると、単なるブラキオスの１バリエーションに見えなくもありませんが、
ストーリーの時代設定が、歴史上の空白期であった第一次大陸間戦争直後ということが、この機体の存在意義を高めています。
　第二次大陸間戦争勃発時、ガイロス帝国の制式機はそのほとんどが旧ゼネバス製になっており、
純ガイロス製のゾイドはヘルディガンナーただ1種のみになっていました。
この機体は、ゾイド開発史においてガイロス帝国制式ゾイドが変遷していった過程を知る事ができる、貴重な存在です。
　それに、これまでゾイドでは海軍機のバリエーションが少なく、
海兵隊や空軍の延長みたいな水陸・水空両用機は数多くあれど、
純粋な制海戦闘ゾイドはアクアドン、フロレシオス、ウォディックの3種しか存在しませんでした。
　買いかぶり過ぎかもしれませんが、既存ゾイドのパーツを流用し、
この２つのミッシングリンクを埋める役目を持つ機体を作り上げた発想には、舌を巻くばかりです。
　強いて欠点を挙げるならば、やはりネオゴドス同様値段が高いことです。
　10年前の感覚ならば1000円台で出せそうなものなのですが、
購買層を絞り込んだ分、単価を上げざるを得なかったのでしょうか。

外観としては、ブラキオスの足をヒレにして首を長くした、という感じですね。
そのフォルムとカラーリングはとても気に入っています。海戦用というのも良いですね。

内容はブラキオスのランナー一式にダークネシオス用の新規パーツを追加した形です。
説明書はダークネシオスのものとブラキオスのものが両方入っており、どちらか好きな方に組み立てられるようになっています。

とりあえずダークネシオスとして組み立てましたが、動作は首の動きと連動して口が開閉、足は交互に動く、という感じです。
ただし、地面に置いても歩きませんし、水に浮かべて泳がせることも出来ません。
（当初付属するはずだった歩行用パーツは付属しません）

想定されている遊び方は、専用の台に載せて遊泳する動きを楽しむ、というものですね。
しかしこの動きは「遊泳」とは違うような……。

ブラキオスの色違いが目当てという方や、ダークネシオスのフォルムと色が気に入ったという方には良いかもしれません。
これで歩行用パーツが付いていれば☆4つだったのですが、現状ではどうにも中途半端な感は否めません。
