5.0 out of 5 stars まさに「バトルオペラ」, 2008/5/4
ストーリーや演出など数多くの問題を残してしまった惜しすぎる作品「Dies Irae」。
なぜ惜しいかと言えば、作品の世界観、体験版の完成度、そしてこのBGMがあまりに素晴らしかったからです。完成版が待ち望まれる本作ですが、ことBGMに関してはおそらくこのまま使われるのではないでしょうか。定評もありますし。

サントラに関して。
DISC2枚組で、BGMはもちろん全て収録。OP、ED両テーマ曲もフルバージョン歌詞付きで収録されています。そして期待していたドラマCD「Anfang」は20分弱。声優さんお二人の演技は相変わらずの凄まじさですが、「聖遺物」や「黒円卓」、肝心の「永劫回帰」といったキーワードには触れられず、内容的にはほんの「お触り」程度だったのが残念です。過度の期待は禁物かと。

個人的にはむしろサントラ部分に感動しました。すべての曲に作曲者さんのコメント（解説）付きです。音楽素人の私には意味不明な部分が多かったですが、そっち方面の方には面白いのではないでしょうか。オモシロい逸話など全く紹介されていない所がかっこよかったです。
当たり前といえば当たり前ですが、やはりCDで聴くと一皮むけた感じです。オーケストラ感がプラスされてます（←素人意見で申し訳ありません）。ちなみにスピーカーも合わせて総額25万ぐらいのシステムで聴いてます。参考までに。

「Dies Irae」未プレイの方にはオススメしません。たとえ「未完成」でも、「Dies irae」を速攻で買ってしまう恐れがあるためです（笑）。このCDから原作のゲームに入ると、決して「駄作」ではない原作に必ず失望しますので・・・・・。

体験版から気になっていた、Dies iraeのサントラ。
購入してかなり興奮しました！

それぞれ作曲者さんのコメントが記載されているのですが、
それを読んでまた「あぁなるほど！」と思う所もあったり。
ドラマCDも知りたい内容だったので、聞いてて「うんうん」と
無意識に頷いてました(笑)

にしても本当買って損はないサントラです。
ギターがめちゃくちゃカッコ良いです。
