5.0 out of 5 stars 上田ソロの強く柔らかい手触り、中丸ソロの素直な表現, 2008/5/4
◆上田ソロ「愛の華」は、上田自身の作詞・作曲による美しすぎるバラード曲。
上田が新しくトレーニングしたというビブラートが要所に使われ、それがなんとも優しく柔らかく、しかし表現しようとする世界観は確固として力強い。
上田のソロはモンスターで、「愛」を正面から表現しようとする繊細かつ切実な姿が、聞き手に真っ直ぐに伝わってくる。
上田の新しい魅力を堪能できる一曲。

◆中丸ソロ「ＳＭＡＣＫ」とは、「舌打ちをする」、転じて「キスをする」の意味。
「空見上げ　強い光よ　僕たちを迎えてくれ／　愛してる　素直な気持ちを　ずっと二人で」と歌詞は純粋な愛の気持ちを歌ったものだ。
途中には「デートの日が近づくと　僕の胸が高ぶる／　病院で診察して　恋の病と分かる」などと可愛らしい表現もあって、中丸の作詞らしく面白い。

この作品も、前作「key of life」と同じく田中直の作曲。打ち込みが生き生きとしていていて、最初の音を聴いた瞬間から「音が生きている」感動がある。
ただ、全体を通して聴くと今作はやや単調な印象。

◆「DON'T U EVER STOP」も、KAT-TUNの表現力を堪能できる名曲。
赤西・亀梨のソロパート・ハモリでの迫真の演奏はもちろんだが、
田中のRap「FROM　千葉　サイコラッパー」「ガキの頃描いてた大人に「Anybody home?」 Knock! Knock! Knock!」と、細部から全体の迫力に至るまで圧巻。
サビ「DON'T U EVER STOP」など、全員のコーラスには厚みと緊迫感があり、「傷ついて　TOP　旅立ったあの日から　DON'T U EVER STOP」の歌詞はKAT-TUN自身の姿とオーバーラップし感動を増幅させる。

今回、作詞作曲を手がけた上田竜也『愛の華』
･･･ビブラートをうまく使い、完璧なまでに洗練された
美しい歌声。涙が出るほど綺麗な一曲！

中丸雄一『smack』 恋の始まりを予感させるような
可愛らしくてうきうきするような曲は今までの彼の方向性とは
一変!　甘いボイスで綺麗に歌い上げられています

どちらもラジオで聞きましたが、
予想以上の確かな技術とこころのこもった仕上がりに大満足!!
これは買って損は無いと思います。

上田竜也くん自身が作詞作曲、さらには編曲まで携わった「愛の華」は、６分を超える壮大なバラード。
メロディ、歌詞、歌声の隅々にまで彼のこだわりが行き届き、歌への情熱がうかがえます。

中丸雄一くんのソロ「SMACK」はかわいらしい歌詞で、今までのソロとは一味違う作品となっています。

どちらとも素晴らしい楽曲です。ぜひ聴いてみてください。
KAT-TUNのボーカルは、亀梨赤西だけではないとわかるはずです。
