カルト歌謡の最高峰、小山ルミの紙ジャケット限定復刻第2弾!! 1972年6月2日にアポロンから8トラックのカートリッジ・テープとしてのみリリースされた小山ルミのアルバム『小山ルミ&ドラム・ドラム・ドラムを全曲デジタル・リマスター、紙ジャケット仕様で復刻。小山ルミのヴォーカルは企画アルバムながら絶好調で12曲すべてがビート&グルーヴ歌謡の傑作!、欧陽菲菲の代表作「恋の追跡」(1972.4.5)や「フレンズ」(平山三紀1972.3.10)といった橋本淳・筒美京平コンビ作品や李朱朗のデビュー曲でベンチャーズ歌謡の隠れた名作「あの人は札幌」(197.3.1)や朱理エイコの大ヒット「北国行きで」(19721.25)のグルーヴ感は見事。

このアルバムのタイトルに妙に惹かれて購入しました。
もう1曲目のイントロからこれでもかのドラムサウンド全開で
これは予想を遥かに超えてました。
小山ルミのボーカルもそれに引っ張られるように非常にパワフルです。
都はるみばりの唸り節が聴けるトラックもあります。
解説によると当時流行のフランジャー（ジェットマシーン）を
シンバルなど随所に使用してるようです。
確かにシンバルがシュワ〜ンシュワ〜ン鳴ってます。
う〜ん・・ジミヘンみたい・・・。

惜しむらくは解説をもう少し詳しくして欲しかったが・・。
（ライナーノーツはＬＰサイズ１枚の約４分の一だけ）

とにかく一聴の価値有りのレア・アルバムです。
選曲も良い！！
注）深夜はヘッドホンで聴く事。でも興奮して眠れなくなるかも・・・。

とっても煽情的で官能的。
といっても過剰に纏わりつかず、少しエッヂの利いたドライめのキレのある声。
ツインドラムをフューチャーした曲では互いに煽りあうような強さをもって、またポップス調の曲では少しマイルドなトーンで、曲調によって変幻自在に唄っており、説得力に溢れている。
いろいろなタイプの選曲はほとんどカバー曲だが、彼女の唄いこみによってオリジナル同様に昇華されており、アルバム全体も統一感があってアーティスティックな印象の深い作品であり、当時8トラでしか発売されなかったのは不可解としか。。。
紛れもなく本アルバムは70年代ビート歌謡の最高峰である。
