　インディアンの衣装を模したような元ＷＡＮＤＳのボーカル上杉昇のビジュアルから衝撃的な印象を受けたのですが、ＣＤの内容は根底としてはハードながらも色々な曲調の楽曲が収録されてて、想像してた以上に聴きやすかったというのが本音ですね。ミニアルバムということで曲数もコンパクトに収められているし、一曲一曲の構成もまとまりよく演奏されてるので繰り返し聴くのに全然疲れない内容かと。むしろ自分としてはちょっと物足りなかったぐらいで、次はフルアルバムのリリースを期待したいです。
　ＷＡＮＤＳ時代と比べるとＳｈｏｗの歌声はより豊かなバリエーションのものが見られて、後に結成したユニットであるａｌ．ｎｉ．ｃｏやソロ時代の楽曲をきいていない方がいきなりこれを聴いたら驚くでしょうね。全く別人の声に聴こえる曲もあるけど、全曲聴けば彼の凄みが衰えるどころか広がりを持って成長しているのが分るはず。
　自分的には三曲目の「ＳＨＡＭＥ　ＳＨＡＭＥ」が気に入りました。英語詞ながらも一度聴いたら耳に残るサビが何ともかっこいいロックチューンです。そして、踊りだしたくなるようなパーティーチューンの「ＷＡＲＰ」やＷＡＮＤＳ時代の名曲「世界が終わるまでは・・・」のサビ部分を思わせるようなフレーズと退廃的な匂いのするメロディーの世界観が漂うスロウナンバー「世界の果てに」、うねるようなサウンドと地を震わせるようなボーカルが魅力的な「虚空」等、この他にもダウナーなものからどっしりとしたグルーヴのストレートな曲もあって、アルバムを通して描かれた人間の死生を見つめるボーカルＳｈｏｗのリリックの世界観とバンドメンバーの彩り豊かなサウンドが非常にマッチしたものに仕上がってます。デビュー作としては満足いく内容だと思いますよ。聴かず嫌いで通り過ぎるのは勿体無いので、興味を持たれた方はぜひこのＣＤを手にとって欲しいですね。

正直ソロになってからの作品はあまり好きになれなかったけど、この作品はヤバ過ぎです！久々に日本のロックで本能を揺さぶられました。今後の活動に期待大です！

全曲ではなかったが、昨日のライブでほぼ披露された。 上杉昇作詞作曲のみではなく、曲を作ったバンドメンバーの個性が反映されており、カラフルかつ面白い。 日本語の歌詞も含まれており、英詞に抵抗がある人にも問題ない。 一枚目でこれだけのクオリティがあるなら、今後の活躍が楽しみだ。買って損はしないだろう。
