内容紹介

2006年、T.M.Revolutionとしてデビュー10周年を華々しく飾り、その後はabingdon boys schoolのフロントマンとしてのバンド活動や、約8年振りとなるミュージカル主演など、多分野にわたり精力的に活動を継続してきた西川貴教が、再びT.M.Revolutionとして始動!新曲としては2005年「vestige-ヴェスティージ-」以来、約3年ぶりのリリースとなる。今回の楽曲「resonance(読み:レゾナンス 意味:共鳴)」は、テレビ東京系にて4月からスタートする新TVアニメ「ソウルイーター」の主題歌としてオンエアが決定。2008年4月19日にはニューヨークにて毎年開催され、昨年は総動員数約5万人を記録した大型コミックコンベンション「New York Comic Con 2008」にT.M.Revolutionが主賓として招聘され、ライブパフォーマンスを行う予定。今夏劇場公開となる映画への初出演も決定し、2008年もさらに勢いを増す新たなチャレンジにも乞うご期待!

届いて早速聞きました。嬉し過ぎて感涙ものです。
abingdon boys schoolの楽曲が増えて行って、
もうT.M.Revolutionとして新曲を出してくれないんじゃないかと
実は少し諦め気分でした（汗）
今回の新曲は乾いた砂地に水が吸い込むように染み渡りました！（笑）
西川＆浅倉コンビはやっぱり最強です！
abingdon boys schoolも良いと思うけど、やっぱりT.M.Revolution
としての貴教の新しい歌声にずっと飢えてた気がします。
「おかえり」と「ありがとう」と言う気持ちでいっぱいになりました。
とてもいい曲だと思うのでぜひ聞いてみて下さい！

2008年発表、T.M.Revolutionとしては約３年ぶりの楽曲。

個人的な感想として、「T.M.Rらしさ」が久々に感じられて満足する楽曲だ。
浅倉大介節全開の楽曲とアレンジ（ギター音は彼独特）に、井上秋緒の独特のリリックは健在。
当然ながら西川貴教のヴォーカルは安定感抜群で圧倒的だ。
まさに「よくぞ戻ってきた！」といった感じ、「西川-浅倉-井上」の黄金律が本作は（も？）うまくはまっている。
いやぁ〜、心躍るね。
（久しぶりって言うのも、より新鮮さを生んでいるのだろう）

この曲を聴いて改めて思うのは「基本的に、T.M.Rならやっぱり本作のようなスタイルがいい」ということ。
a.b.sという別の確たる表現方法が出来た今、その思いは本作を聞いて個人的には強くなった。
本作を聞き「あぁ、T.M.Rとa.b.sはやっぱり全然違うなぁ」としみじみ感じる。
（音が、楽曲がとかいう浅い部分じゃなくて、なにか「貴教」が違うと感じるのだ）

一応T.M.R第二章は、実験的な（a.b.s寄りの楽曲も多かった）8枚目のオリジナルアルバム、
「vertical Infinity」がスタートという事になっているが、
この曲をもって、T.M.R第二章「真のスタート」を切れたのではないだろうか（PVもそれを思わせるものだ）

思えばこういうスタイルの楽曲を歌うアーティストは、最近の日本のトップシーンでは見なくなったね。
見方によっては、個性を際立て易いということかもしれない。
今後、音楽シーンに「充電を経たT.M.Revolutionの進化と真価」を存分に見せていってほしい。

もちろん、CD(曲)もとてもいいですがPV(DVD)がテンション上がりました。 カップリングもかっこいいので、たくさんの方に聴いてもらいたいです(^-^)
疾走感あるノリの良さは健在です。
