2006年5月にリリースされた前作、
「DELIGHT」から丁度2年ぶりとなる今作。
"香り"が今回のアルバムのテーマになっているということで、
収録曲には花の名前など香りにまつわるワードが付けられている。

シングルからは、
愛内里菜至上、最高にカッコいいROCKチューンと言っても過言ではない「薔薇が咲く 薔薇が散る」、
爽やかなサウンドと軽快なテンポが心地よく、また"愛のあるべき姿"について歌っている歌詞も印象的な「Mint」、
綺麗なメロディーラインと切ない歌詞が話題となり、彼女が歌うバラードのクオリティーの高さを再認識させられた「眠れぬ夜に」、
ストーリー仕立てのPVも好評で、ライブで盛り上がること間違いなしのダンスナンバー「PARTY TIME PARTY UP」、
そして先行シングルとなる、ウエディングソングを意識して作られた愛に溢れた壮大なバラード「I believe you 〜愛の花〜」、
計5曲の素晴しい曲が収録される。

また、彼女のアルバムではおなじみとなっている、
1曲目に収録される曲とラストに収録される曲とのタイトルの関連の演出も今回も健在のようで、
「TRIP」と「A DAY TRIP」、
この2曲の関連性も楽しみなところ。

2年越しの超期待作になりそうな予感です★

個人的に前２作のアルバムは好きになれなかったのですが、ようやく期待にたがわぬアルバムが出ました！
まず冒頭の曲が、ディスコ風で格好良い。
２曲目も素敵で、シングル曲も散りばめられ、
このアルバムの最大の見せ場は「さくら色」でしょう。
今までとは違う儚げでまるで童謡のような歌い方で、新境地開拓といったところでしょうか。
また、「Secret Jasmin」もとても良い曲です。
歌の上手さは相変わらずですが、本アルバムのサウンドプロダクションも、広がる空間を上手く使い最高です。
待ってて良かった。
