内容は民族学や夢や幻想的な感じを含み、世界観は相当作りこまれている感じです。
イラストも線の柔らかい絵で、ほのぼのとしています。背景も綺麗です。
BGMや蝉の声、背景の鮮やかさでとても夏らしい雰囲気が漂っているゲームです。
設定はメッセージウインドウの色やBGMの大きさなど色々かなり細かく出来るし、セーブ画面も分かりやすく丁寧で良いです。

ただ立ち絵の種類が極端に少ない気がしました。
何かほぼ全員、顔だけがマンガ向き…いわゆる顔が右向きで、主要な友達全員が右向きで違和感を感じます。正面、左向きがあってもいいのに右向きばっかで立ち絵の種類が少なすぎ。
あと、口パクが中途半端。
口パクがあるのは良い事なのですが、ボイスと全くタイミングが合っておらず、しかもボイスがまだ流れているのに口パクだけ勝手に終了して、最後の方は口は閉じているのにボイスは流れてるという不自然な状態になります。
(ロードが追い付いていないとかではありません。)
口パクも、ただ魚みたいにパクパクとして、お世辞にも喋っている動作には見えません。ロボットの口の様です。

以上、ストーリーは良いと思うのにシステム面で幾つか残念な点がありました。

水月は初プレイです。
ゲーム内容に不満はありません。雪さんかわいいです。
しかし、システム面がダメすぎる。
キャラのボイスが入る前のディスクのシーク音がかなりうるさいですし、喋るキャラが変わるごとに
頻繁にシーク音が入り、しかもその度に2、3秒のローディングがあるためテンポが悪く、ストーリーに没頭できない。
更に、メニュー画面やバックログを出す時のボタンを押した後のレスポンスが悪い。
これもボタンを押してから2秒くらいかかります。
この辺りはもうちょっと軽くできなかったのかなぁと。

色んな機種で発売されている水月ですが、
PC版を買うべきだったかもとちょっと後悔しています。
内容は悪くなかっただけに非常に残念。
