女性５人組のJAZZグループのメジャーデビュー作。

近年流行りの女性グループにしては平均年齢が若干上の５人組みのグループ。

JAZZというカテゴリではあるものの、堅苦しいスイングやデキシーというわけではなく、FUSION系に近い曲調の構成となっており、むしろ敷居を下げて親しみやすいものになっています。

メンバーの一人である織原洋子は別のバンドでの活躍、並びにキーボードマガジンのベストプレイヤー賞を受賞したほどの実力派。フェミニンな見た目と異なり細い腕でピアノを叩く姿は一見に値します。

CD発売後予定されている記念のライブのチケットは売れ行きも好調だという話。

どんなステージパフォーマンスを魅せてくれるのか期待できます。

一見華やかだけど、とっても硬派なバンド。
親しみやすいメロディーで聴きやすくて聴き飽きない。
演奏も確かでどれも良いけど、特にキーボードが抜群。
ライブが楽しいです！

最初に店頭で見たときにはジャズ風イージーリスニングだろうと決めてかかってしまい購入しませんでしたが、あるきっかけで購入して聞いてみたらイージーリスニングどころではありませんでした。
確かに爽やかで親しみやすいメロディー（テーマ）の曲が多いのですが、アドリブに入ったら、これは本格的なジャズです。とくにSAXの即興がかなりブルージーで（SAXのMIYAKOさんはジャッキー・マクリーンが好きとのこと）本格ジャズが好きな人も気に入るのではないでしょうか。前のレビューの方が書いてらっしゃるように、実は硬派なバンドですね。SAXの方以外も皆さん達者でジャジーな演奏をされており、流して聞くこともできるけれど、ちゃんと聞きこむこともできる作品になっていると思います。
また、2曲目にはギターで小沼ようすけ氏が参加してクールなソロをきめてくれていますし、5曲目、12曲目ではこれまたギターの土方隆行氏が参加してイキなバッキングを披露してくれてます。また、1，9曲目ではパーカッションで川瀬正人氏が参加など、一流どころのゲストミュージシャンが参加してます（ＣＤの帯に書いておけばいいのに）。これはレコード会社の期待の表れなのでしょうか。
曲は全曲メンバーのオリジナル曲で、アレンジもBIANCA自身でやっているとのこと。曲はボサノバ風、本格ジャズ風などバラエティに富んでいますが、どれもメロディアスなテーマになっていて気持ちがいいですし、各自のソロではジャズの醍醐味の自由さを感じることができます。
イージーリスニング的な演奏が好きな方も。本格ジャズが好きな方も楽しめる、これまでに（あまり？）なかったバンドだと思います。買って損のない一枚なのは間違いありません。
