【Story】
雷雨によってロサンゼルス国際空港、着陸不能!多数のジャンボ機がフェニックス空港に臨時着陸する中、更に最悪の事態の停電が発生する。燃料切れ寸前の為、ジャンボジェット機はもうどこにも避難できない。この緊急事態を回避する為、呼び出された男ジャックは、かつてシカゴ航空管制官として活躍していたが、一瞬の判断ミスにより174人の犠牲者を出す大事故を引き起こした張本人であった…。

こちらの主人公ジャック・ハリスはジャック･バウアーとは違ってトラウマ持ってるおとなしい男ですよぅ。大空港と銘打ってますが・・・ボロ空港（笑）と・・。でも、話的には２４のように派手ではありませんが管制官として働く人達の描写がとてもいいです。私はこの話大好きなので皆さんにお勧めしたいです。以前は「グランドコントロール」と言う題名でしたね。手に入りやすい新しいバージョンが出て嬉しいです。

空港の地上管制官の映画です。一つ判断ミスを犯せば、大惨事になる航空管制。そのプレッシャーがよくわかります。過去の事故のトラウマに苦しむ管制官の姿があります。航空管制官の置かれている状況がよくわかる映画だと思います。面白い映画です。飛行機の離着陸の映像が威圧感を持って、見えます。
