4月発売直後からいきなり在庫切れになってしまった、話題のアナログプレーヤーをやっと入手しました。USB端子を搭載している点が最大の特徴で、アナログデータをデジタルデータに変換し、パソコンにダイレクトに取り込むことができます。音楽編集ソフトとしてはSONYの「Sound Forge Audio Studio LE」がついています。内包CDを使ってソフトをインストールすると、特別な機器を用意することなく、その日のうちに「アナログ→デジタル変換」がスタートできます。もちろん、取り込んだデータはMP3などに変換できるので、CDに焼いたり、iPodなどにも転送可能です。

この手のデジタル変換機能付きのレコードプレーヤーは、DJ向けに数台存在していましたが、やはり一般的とは言えませんでした。また、市販ソフトで何種類か販売されていますが、どれも「帯に長し、たすきに…」という感じでした。何と言っても「オールインワン」で作業が可能なのがポイント。

CDが世に出てから約30年、個人的には20年前くらいにアナログプレーヤーを処分してしまったので、以来、アナログ音源は眠ったままになっていました。当時、ほとんどの人が思ったのが「そのうちCD化されるから大丈夫」。ところが、大丈夫だなんてとても言えません。有名なところでは、ビートルズの「ハリウッド・ホールのライブ」や「ハンブルグ時代のライブ」があげられますし、個人的にはプロデューサー・アイヒャー氏とリッチー・バイラークの確執でお蔵入りになってしまったECMの名盤あたりが思い浮かびます。どちらにしても、約20年ぶりの「再会」で、久しぶりに感動してしまいました。

プレーヤーとしては、おそらく最もベーシックなタイプで、全体に軽くてかなり華奢な感じ。したがって振動や共鳴などには神経を使います（デジタルどっぷり生活が長いと、そんな基本も忘れていました）。しかも音楽編集ソフトも簡易版。したがって高度なものを求める人には物足りないと思います。でも、「眠っているアナログをいま聴きたい」「LP音源を通勤中に聴きたい」という人には、うってつけだと思います。

レコード持ってるのに聴けない・・・

というお嘆きの諸君にふさわしい商品。

パソコンと録音したいレコードがあれば
これを買えば、あっという間に（レコード再生する時間はかかるが）
データとして復活。

最初、なかなか音が出なくて悩んだが
本体後ろの「LINE OUT」と「PHONO端子」の切り替えスイッチが
「LINE OUT」になっていないと、パソコンに取り込めない事に気づくまで
１時間も無駄にしてしまった。

iPodの影響かなんかしらんが
パソコン関連の商品は取り扱い説明書の内容を端折り過ぎではないか？
もっと初心者でも分かるようにしてもらいたい。

取り込んでからは
付属ソフトのチュートリアルを読めばいいけど。

まあ、この値段で所有レコードが音源データとして甦るんなら安いもんです。

大きい音が入力されるとすぐ歪むので
録音レベルには注意です。
あと、レコードのＡ面が終わる２２〜３分というのが
意外と短くて、この作業やり始めると
かなり忙しいですｗ
