私はシリーズを全て購入した熱烈なファンですが、今作は残念な結果でした。
逆転裁判の面白さはミステリーであり、魅力あるキャラクターであり、
嘘を暴き、圧倒的に不利な状況から逆転する爽快感だと思います。
4は残念ながらその全てで旧作を下回っています。
　
無理のあるトリックには目をふさいでも、キャラの不可解な行動が目立ちます。
「あの時の行動はそういう意味だったのか」と思わせたい意図も明白ですが酷いです。
旧作にあった魅力的なキャラクター達、まるで漫才のようなかけ合い、
オーバーすぎるほどのリアクションはざっくり減りました。
絵もアニメも綺麗にはなっているのですが、一番大事な面白さの点で劣っています。

「逆転裁判」として致命的なのは、ベタな悪役が減り、
ライバル検事が友好的な好青年で、倒す爽快感が薄まっているのです。　
助けるべき依頼人も、本当に困っている人が助けを求めてきたというより、
かなりの問題児を成り行きで弁護するはめになっただけです。
主人公ですら依頼人の扱いに困っており、非協力的で助けなきゃとは思わせません。
要するに、プレイヤーに気持ち良くプレイさせる配慮が欠けているのです。

厳しい評価をしましたが、お求めやすい価格になったので是非ともプレイしてもらいたいです。
旧作ファンでもこの価格なら許せるでしょうし、新規ユーザーなら全く問題無いでしょう。
過去作と比べないならクオリティは高いです。
次回作では基本に戻って作っていただきたいです。こうやって文句を言いながらも絶対に買いますから。

1〜3シリーズ、更に成歩堂君大好きの私としては、
4での成歩堂くんの変わりようにはすごくショックを受けました。

ゲーム全体としては、中々楽しめるのではないかと思う。
しかし、今作はやはり『爽快感がない』と私も感じました。

主人公と対決する検事に強い意志がなかったように感じました。
今作の検事のキャラクターを否定する訳ではなく、
こういう検事の在り方もアリだとは思うのですが、
前作までは、主人公に対し敵意を持って挑んで来る検事や、
何が何でも有罪を勝ち取ろうとする検事などが相手で、
そんな彼らとの法廷バトルが楽しかったのに、今作にはそれがなかった。

一概には言えないが、1〜3までの想い入れが強い人ほど、
4という作品が許せないのではないかと思う。

１からずっとやりこんでいた自分にとって、本作でニートなるほどくんを見ても
「こんなだけどなるほどくんはきっと何か裏があるに違いない！」と信じて
時間も忘れやっていたのに…………クリア後、ショックで寝込みました（事実）
裏って言ってもこんな裏じゃないんだ、希望してたのは。
何故なんだ。私が１〜３までなるほどくん目線で解決してた事件って一体何だったのさ！
あの感動した気持ちは？御剣や矢張との友情は？
数々の依頼人を救ったのにもかかわらず何故一匹オオカミ状態？
こんななっていて7年間も誰も彼を救ってあげてないことに
思いっきり裏切られた気分です。ああ、本作をなかったことにしてほしい…。
4という作品が存在することで１〜３までを完全否定されました。
味方がいなくてたった独りになってしまった…そんな人を助けるために弁護士になる！
って言ってたのにそれを実行してきたのにいざ自分が独りになったら
誰も味方になってくれないとは…。どんだけシビアな世界だ、ここ。
そりゃひねくれるよ。ニートにもなるでしょう。旧作キャラにがっくりです。

そんなわけで4で依頼人が勝訴しようが敗訴しようがどうでもよくなりました。
キャラもストーリーも一切印象に残っていません（もはや執念でクリア）
クリア後、印象に残ってるストーリーとキャラとトリックは発売前に得た情報のみ。
キャラの言い回しがどうも無駄に演技っぽくて受け付けないですね。
特定コア層を「狙って作ってる」感じがして嫌味にさえ感じる。
キャラの動きやセリフが「言わされてる」という印象でうまく動かせてません。

１〜３までのハードルが高すぎてきっとこんなになっちゃったんでしょう。哀れ…。
「あのキャラって普段こんなことしてそうだよね」という妄想を与えるようなキャラは
一切いませんでした。濃いのは表面だけ。残念。非常に残念です。
4は期待を込めて限定版買ったけど5もこの路線で行くんだったら中古で買います。
