　周知の通り、谷村奈南は、このサード・シングルによって完全にブレイクし、高い知名度を得た。病人のように痩せ細った女性達がＲ＆Ｂやラテンを歌う滑稽な日本の状況の中では、これはとてもいいことだと思う。
　こうしたジャンルには詳しくないのだが、１は、ラテン・テイストのダンス・ナンバー。２はＲ＆Ｂ系のバラード。３も私にはよくわからないが、ラテン性とレゲエ的な部分をあわせもった曲ということになるだろうか。
　当然（？）、これまでの作品の中では一番いい。１は、今のところ彼女の代表曲だろう。リズムや低音の部分も格好いい。無論、いささか「軽薄」なテイストなわけだが、この場合は当然だろう。３も同様の路線で、結構いいと思う。
　とはいうものの、私のような年長者があれこれいうことでもないが、まだまだ物足りなさが残る。２はもう一つ。特にわからないのが詞で、こういう、日本語のちょっと強引な押韻に、更に英語を加えるというスタイルはすっかり一般化したようだ。私が古いのだろうが、どうもぴんとこない。
　近年、彼女はＴＶ出演も増えている。そこで見られるのは、上品で真面目そうな女性だ。セクシーな歌姫といったイメージはあまりない。まして、下品でイケイケな感じは皆無だ。無論、それがこの人の魅力だろう。
　ただ逆にいえば、そういう彼女は今後どうしていくか。イケイケな路線は、あまり似合わなさそうだ。この歌手の魅力の一つは、痩せ過ぎの女性からは出ない太い声にあると思う。意外と、もっと本格派的な道があっているのではないか。
