昨今すべらない話の人気が凄い事になっているが、2001年からすでにラジオの世界ですべらない話は披露されていた。
この放送室とすべらない話で披露した話で幾つか同一のものがあるが、私は放送室の方が好きだ。
ラジオなのが逆に良い様な気がする。当然音のみなので、リスナーは想像力を働かせ、イメージを膨らませて二人の話を聴く。
最近、演出過多なバラエティ番組が多い中、こういう番組は貴重だし、これからもライフワークとしてぜひ続けていってほしい。

番組開始、当時では、あいうえお、五十音をキーワードにして話すというインタビュー形式の放送でした。
例えば「あ」を頭文字に、相方についてや、アメリカについて、一時間、松本さんに高須さんが、どう思うかを聴きます。多少の話の脱線は、ありますが、本ですでに出版されている話も多いので、ダウンタウンファンの方には、もう熟知していることばかりだったりしますし、高須さんも緊張ぎみで今の放送室とは違い、自由な面白さが伝わりにくいと思います。緊張して聞いてくる高須さんを気遣ってか、まっちゃんもイマイチ、五十音のテーマに乗り気ではありませんｗ

勢いで言うと、五十音形式がなくなった時、５０回目くらいからのほうが、強烈におもしろいです。一人で聴いていても腹を抱えて笑います。この頃くらいから高須さんの面白さが爆発的に発揮されてもきますし、笑いの濃度が増しています。

お笑い論や時事ネタの話し合いが面白いのは当然ですが、
それより、特に面白いテーマを列挙しますと

・地元の友達の話や
・子供の頃の貧乏話
・突然に始まるミニコント（ホントに、いつの間にか始まります）
・世間にキレルまっちゃん
・高須さんの小心話
・番組スタッフの奇妙さ
・松本高須の身近な芸人の性癖
・独身男性の切実な悩み
・デリカシーについて
・まっちゃん自身も忘れている若手時代のすべらない話

などなど

あと、随所にある「放送室」特有のギャグや、まっちゃんが、よくわからないキャラクターでしゃべり出したり、変な擬音の言い合いも面白い。二人とも、童心に帰っています。まっちゃん曰く「リスナーなんか関係あるかあ！！ぼけええ」という二人の世界がものすごいです。

長くなりましたが、このボックスセットは、５０回目以降の放送分を聞くための布石なら、買いです。それと最近、放送室を聴き始めた方には、少し違った雰囲気が十分、味わえると思います。

皆さんおすすめです。お笑いではダウンタウン一筋ですが今回も期待どおりおもしろいです　もちろん全巻買います
ただもう少し安ければ最高ですが星5つですハイ
