遂に日本でもデビューしてくれました！
「ヒラリー・ダフは3rdもいいけどやっぱりデビュー・アルバムが一番好き」、という方は絶対に気に入ります。
声質も似ているし、関わっている制作陣もかなりダブリます。
どの曲もポジティブ系で明るく、本当にシングル・ライクな曲ばかりで、これでもかというほど正統派のポップロックがギッシリと詰まっています。
最近、こういうタイプのアーティストがみんなR&B系に方向転換しているので、個人的にとても嬉しいです。ジャケも素敵！

２年ほど前に偶然彼女のことを知ってから、ずっと日本デビューを心待ちにしていました。
すでに彼女は、１６歳の時にデビューしていて、BSBやジェシー・マッカートニーらとツアーをともにするなど、地元オーストラリアではかなり人気のある人です。

このアルバムでは、ヒラリー・ダフやビリー・パイパー、Martine McCutcheonらのプロデュース、作曲家として有名なWendy Pageが参加しています。
カイリーやホリー・ヴァランス、アミエル、デルタ・グッドレムなど、良質なポップ・シンガーの多いオーストラリアですが、彼女らに次いでケイトも日本でもっと人気が出て知られていってほしいなと思います。
