昔懐かしいゲームが入った餓狼伝説バトルアーカイブズのベスト版です。
２０００円ほどなので、昔はまった人には、なつかしいという感覚でゲームできるかと思います。

ただ、問題なのがオンライン対戦。
実際にやってる人は恐ろしく少なく、ゴールデンタイムでも自分一人ということも少なくありません。
特にオンライン対戦は有料なのでさも、登録すればすぐ楽しめますよ。的なフレーズにだまされてはいけません。
このゲームに限ったことではないですが、ネオジオオンラインはどのゲームも過疎っています。
それ目当てに購入を考えてる方は十分ご注意を。

以前所有していたオリジナルの家庭用NEOGEO､MVS基板と比べて遜色無し｡
移植度はほぼ完璧といって良いでしょう｡
メニューからゲームを選択した直後以外は
ロード時間もほぼ皆無でストレス無くプレイ可能です｡
またNEOGEOの｢MAX330 MEGA｣と表示されるあの起動画面も
バッチリ移植されていて感動しました｡
(※また､餓狼3のスーパーモード､隠しキャラ出現コマンドも
　　そのまま移植されています｡)

しかし､オリジナルの品質にこだわりすぎて
対人戦がCOM戦への乱入というアーケードそのままのスタイルになっており､
家庭用(PS2版)としては扱いにくくなっている点が不満でした｡
(※例えば餓狼SPでは対戦で勝利したプレイヤーはキャラ変更ができない点や
　 ステージ選択､時間設定などじっくり対戦を楽しむ追加､修正要素が無いです
まぁ隠しボスのリョウが対戦のみとはいえ､いきなり使えるのであまり気にしませんが)

あと､餓狼1ではやはり同キャラ対戦も出来ず､対戦はテリー､アンディー､東丈の三人しか
選べなかったのも残念です｡個人的にSFC版ではめっちゃ強かった初代ギースハワードを使って
烈風拳連発したかったですね｡ギースステージBGMも餓狼SPより格好良いですし｡
でもCOM戦のプレイヤー1〜2人vsCOMという今でも風変わりなゲームシステムは楽しめました

余談ですが､家庭用NEOGEO版の餓狼伝説SPECIALは発売当時定価28000円(!)でした｡
ROMカードリッジの大きさも今のPC用外付けHDD並のデカさで驚いたものです｡
まさかDVD-ROM1枚の省スペース､この低価格で
業務用そのままの品質を楽しめる時代が来るとは･･･

･･･上記ソフトを｢新品購入｣した古参のファンとしては
　 いろんな意味で感涙モノです(笑)

ゲーム自体は昔遊んだ餓狼伝説シリーズそのままなので期待通りで不満は無いのですがいかんせん15〜6年も前の作品の為、攻略本が古本屋でさえも見付かりません。攻略本なしでもゲームをクリアする事は出来るでしょうがこういった格闘ゲームはやはり詳細な内容の攻略本が有るとテクニックも磨かれて対戦などもより面白くなるものです。入っているゲームの内かつてプレイしていたタイトルはなんとか思い出しながらやっていますがそうで無いものはいまいち楽しめません。付属の説明書は必要最低限の事しか書かれていませんがこの辺を考慮してもう少し内容の充実した物にして欲しかったです。もちろんどこかの出版社が攻略本を再販してくれるのが一番良いんですけど。
