昨年秋に発売された、北米盤を見ての感想です。

本編は30分本程増えている。
暴力シーンは最近のスペクタクル系の中で
比較的厳しく無い方だった本作だが
このディレクターズカットでは、手足の切断や惨たらしい死体。
編集で上手くカットされていた直接的描写も増えている。
これは賛否あると思うが
スターの共演とスケールを楽しむ映画から
「戦争映画」に全体の雰囲気は変わっている。

カットされていた「オデッセウス」場面の復活。
ダイアン・クルーガーとオーランド・ブルームのセクシーな場面の
ヌードが劇場公開では、トリミングされていたのだが
そのまま出している。

決定的に変更されたのは終盤のトロイの木馬から崩壊までだ。
兵士の略奪や虐殺は、DCではより具体的に見せる。
一般市民も容赦なく殺され、首を縛って高い所から吊るし
女性を陵辱、赤ん坊は火に叩き込むなど
惨たらしい場面が続く。

全体に作品のトーンは暗いものになったので
ブラッド・ピットやオーランド・ブルームのファンが
改めて見ると、かなり厳しい場面があるが
U-ボートを手がてたペーターゼンらしい仕上がりに。

画質は、DVDとBlu-ray比較する事はできないが
ややコントラストがきつめのDVDより
暗部が急に落ち込まず、ハイライトも自然で
フィルムっぽさが感じられる。

このＢＤ版はそれより画質もよくなり、追加されたシーンも納得のいく出来です。
内容も、ここ何年間のハリウッド映画の中では、かなりよく出来たほうだと思います。

星四つは十分あげられるという前提の下、すこし不満を言いますと；


一般的に注意すべき（？）所は・・・そうですね。あまり無いとは思いますが
戦のシーンが残酷になっている所と、ちょっと長い（１９０分オーバー）所ですかね。

あと音楽が変更されていますが、正直、よくなったのかどうか判りませんね。

アキレスがへクターを刺したときのあの「エ〜エエ〜」という音楽も
変更されて無くなっていました・・・あれは気に入ってたんですが。

　ディレクターズ版のリリースはありがたいのですが、画質がDVDとあまり変わらないような画質。この仕様にも、慣れてきた感はありますが、やはりがっかりです。音質は、さすがによくなっています。

　30分ほどの映像を追加し、音楽も変更されています。ラブシーンの挿入は正直いらないが、各戦闘シーンが残虐なものになり、迫力が増しているのは素晴らしい。映像特典も増えている。ここは評価できる。

　くどいようだが、残念なのが画質。作品の題材が好きな内容だっただけに、非常に残念だ。
