アルバムのマスター･テープを操作しながらジョンのボーカルだけを抜き出して聴かせたりしながら繰り広げられるエンジニアやリンゴ、クラウス・フォアマンなどへのインタヴューは大変興味深く面白いです。
フィル・スペクターが最初からではなく途中からやってきてアルバムに関わったなど、新事実も明らかになっています。

このアルバムのファンなら納得の内容ですが、問題は値段。輸入盤が￥1,600いくらで買えるのに、国内盤のこの値段はもうちょっと何とかならないもんなのでしょうか。
同時発売のドアーズもですが、今まで出ている他のタイトルの国内版と比べても高くなっているのがさらに解せません。

「ジョンの魂」の鋭くエッジの立ったサウンド、心の叫びを反映した詞が、どんな雰囲気のなかで作られたのか見られてとても興味深かったです。
クラウスもリンゴも本音を語っているようで新鮮に感じます。
二人ともジョンとのトリオで傑作が作れたことを誇りにしています。
今まではフィルスペクターが全面的にプロデュースしたんだと思っていましたが、「ジョンとエンジニアでほとんどのサウンドを作ってた。」とか発言もあり、フィルの影が薄かったように描かれています。
「そういえばフィルの「ウオールオブサウンド」がこのアルバムには見られないよな！」となんとなく納得してしまいました。
ファンには必見のDVDです。

特に目新しい映像は無く、むしろあの時代ジョンとヨーコは何をやっても批判された事を思い出し、「ビートルズを信じない！信じるのはヨーコと自分。」と、言われたショックは今でも哀しい。
リンゴとクラウスのインタビューは嬉しいけど、あのクラプトンは居ない。
ファンにとっては特別なＣＤだけど、メイキングは感動しなかった。
