以前ライブで聴いたときの、歌声のなんともいえない不思議で心地よい魅力に惹かれてＣＤを待ち望んでいました。ミナさんが弾くシタールをはじめ、インドの楽器を主として、時にスティールパン等も用い、ヒンディー語で歌う曲があるのも特色です。全体を通して、ゆったりとした、愛らしい、ソフトな音楽になっています。低音域の歌声は、力がまったく入っていないような楽な感じの声。なので、歌声はとてもソフトで優しいです。その一方で、音程はかなりファジーになる部分があり、賛否両論あるかもしれません。ただ、新居昭乃さんが一部正確ではない音程の歌声で、とても素敵な雰囲気を出しているのと同じで、ミナさんの歌声もとても素敵です。高音域の歌声は、ちょっとほかでは聴けない感じの音色です。綺麗、美しいではとても表現しきれない声色です。ボーカルを二重に重ねる部分がかなりあり、オクターブユニゾンやハーモニーを完全五度、完全四度で付けている部分もあり、魅力的な響きを生み出しています。ミナさんの歌い方は、上に書いたように独特なので、もしかしたらそこは好みのわかれるところかも知れません。個人的には大推薦ですが、購入は、視聴やライブなどを聴いて気に入ってからのほうが良いと思います。ということで☆４つ。
