5.0 out of 5 stars メロデスの超傑作！速いスラッシュメタルが好きな人も要チェックですよ！, 2008/4/9
言わずと知れたメロディックデスメタルの傑作の１枚です。EARACHEからの発売です。
ジャケはCARCASSのSWANSONGみたいに紙の箱のカバーがあります。

曲は全体的にかなり速いです。スラッシュメタルファンにもオススメです。ほとんど退屈しないと思いますよ。
演奏もかなり安定していて上手いです。特にツインギターがなんとも言えないほど良いです。ドラムもかなりかっこいい。

ボーナストラックが６曲もあり、かなりいいですよ！個人的にはSLAYERのCAPTOR OF SINのカバーがお気に入りです。初期スラッシュメタルをデスメタル風にアレンジにされています。

ちなみにDVD付きです。
LIVEは音質は良いです。ちゃんとミキシングしてあります。
インタビューは日本語しかわからない人にはあまり楽しめないと思います。
プロモーションビデオ（BLINDER BY FIRE）やインタビューのおまけも収録してあります。

ブックには歌詞だけでなくその曲の解説も英語で書かれています。ちなみにボーナストラックは解説のみです。

AT THE GATESは5月にEXTREME THE DOJO vol.20 specialに出演します。ちなみに僕は名古屋で参戦します(^^)
まだ現時点ではチケットを入手できると思います。復活は今回限りらしいのでこの機会にライブに行ってみるのオススメします！

ボドムやアークエネミー、イン・フレイムスなどをある程度聴いたので、少し年代の古いメロデスを聴いてみようという事で購入しました。まず、これこそデスラッシュじゃないかと思いました。ザ・ホーンテッドはデスメタルじゃないと思いますが、このバンドはまさにデスヴォイスとスラッシュが融合していると思います。一曲目の「ブラインデド・バイ・フィアー」はタイトルどおり恐怖に潰されそうな残虐性を持っています。他のメロデス系とは違い、泣きのメロディーというのではなく、混沌とした世界観をより引き立てる様なメロディーを使うタイプのバンドだと思います。正直、キラーチューンが少ないかなと思うのですが、全体的に速く激しい曲が多いので星４つで評価させていただきます（＾＾）

作品の素晴らしさは言うまでもないですが、DVDとボーナストラックがか〜なり充実してます。
あまりレビューが多くなくちょっと寂しい思いをしましたので、この機に是非買って下さい。笑
実はDVDに関してはほとんど無意識で買ったので、届いてみて驚きました。
ライブは選曲も良いし音もしっかりしてました。インタビューもかなり長く濃い内容だったので、すごくお得な買い物になったと思ってます。
画質も良いし、超名曲Blinded by fear のPV付き。CarcassのHeartWorkもRemasteredでインタビュー付きでしたね。Viva 再結成www
