最テレ端側では少々画質が甘くなるがそれ程気にならないレベルに抑えてあるのは流石。
高倍率ズーム機で気になる色収差も余り目立たず優秀。SP550UZから進歩したなぁ。
フォーカススピードも明るい所では気にならないレベル。多機種と比べてもそれ程劣っているとは思わない。

今回新たに採用されたズームリングは便利なんだけど、反応がワンテンポ遅くていまいちスムーズさに欠ける。ちょっとイラっとするよ。。

高速連写は相変わらず楽しい♪高速連写といえば、あのメーカーのアレが注目を集めているが
一般の人が使うにはこれで十分じゃないかと思う。

あとちょっと驚いたのが、内臓メモリ一杯になるまで撮影したらそのあとレンズが動かなくなった!!如意棒のように伸びたままの鏡筒・・・無様だ・・・。
電源切ったらちゃんと収納されたけどね。

購入してから1ヶ月あまり、20倍ズームを使って野鳥の撮影をしています、ズーム3倍位のコンパクトデジカメでは撮影できないシーンを撮影できるので重宝します。スーパーマクロもクッキリ撮影できるのは驚きでした。デジカメ初心者ですが説明書を読みながら勉強中、けっこう使いやすいです、新機種だけあって至れり尽くせりですよ。
星５つにしなかった訳は、ズーム時に一回でピントが合わない事があります、再度半押しにすると合います、それともう一つ、部屋の中など薄暗いところではピントが合うのに数秒かかるので動いている被写体を撮影するには不向きです（野外では曇りでも問題ない範囲です）。
気にいっている点、20倍ズーム、高速連写、手にしっとり馴染むデザイン、左手でレンズを動かすズーム機能（一眼レフみたい）パノラマも簡単カメラが連結してくれます。
さらなる望遠を求めてテレコンバージョンレンズを購入しました、これまたビックリするくらいの超望遠撮影が出来ます、写真を写さなくても望遠鏡の代わりに使えるね。

マクロから望遠までこれ１台でＯＫ！
スポーツ観戦でも使っていますが、まずまずです。
連写も楽しいし、動画もＯＫ。
花から鳥から景色からスポーツから。
いろいろ撮って楽しんでいます。
日付でフォルダ管理ができたり、サムネイル表示も選べたりするのも便利。
最近はお値段も落ち着いてきて、この機能とお値段を比べたらお買い得だと思います。

ただ、マイナス要素は、ズームリングの反応が遅いこと。
これが一眼レフ並みになったら…というのは贅沢ですよね。
