内容紹介

フランスの思想家、ロラン・バルト(Roland Barthes)の『恋愛のディスクール・断章』より80あるテーマより、8つのテーマをもとに制作。本作「che mon amoureux」は2002年の結成より4枚目のアルバム。keren annやjuana molina等、世界の音楽シーンとの同調性をみせつつムーブメントの模倣や、安易な抽象性とは一線を画す音楽性。エレクトロニカ以降のアコースティックサウンドも感じさせる。そして、たしかなソングライティングにささえられたjunkoの「歌」は、祈りのように繊細な旋律と音楽の未来を辿る。


アーティストについて

2002年、笛岡俊哉、junkoによって結成された日本人ユニット。1stアルバム以降はフランス語詞のみで制作。エレクトロニカやフレンチポップを昇華した音楽性は欧米のみならずアジアでも高い評価を得ている。2005-2007年には台湾、韓国、香港、中国にて演奏を行なう。常に200人程の観客を動員し、2006年の台湾クリスマスワンマンライブにおいては、1000人近く動員し各種現地メディアにてとりあげられた。2nd収録の森田童子「僕たちの失敗」フランス語カヴァーが、 韓国企業LGのCMに採用される。出演女優は多数の韓国映画 への出演で日本でも有名なイ・ヨンエ(李英愛)。

声もサウンドコラージュもアレンジも本当に美しい。

何と言うか…美しいとしかいえない(笑)


それでいて、よくヒーリング系の音楽にありがちな

癒されるけど、心が鎮火してしまう、

神秘的で抽象的な『解りにくい』音楽、悲愴な音像ではなく、

とても耳あたりがソフトで、メロディアス。

どんな日常にもスッと溶け込むような不思議で自然な空気感がある。

そういった意味で、単に「美しい」という表現は適切でないのかもしれないけど。

音像に幸福感が漂ってる。そんな気がします。


…と、だいぶ大げさな感想になってしまいましたが、実際、

こんな音楽を同じ日本人がつくるなんてとても信じられません(笑)

音の置き方や呼吸の仕方が、本当に上品です。

ヨーロッパを旅した時の朝の清涼な空気を想い出しました。

なので、私のように欧州の上品で

アーティスティックな雰囲気に憧れる人にはお勧めです。
