もともとテープ・レコーダーで録音されたものが、マスターとあって、音がデジタルになってもとにかく悪い。
なんでこんな暴挙にでたのか、いまだに議論の的だが、だが、そのくせクリムゾンの世界観を良く表現しているとも思うのは、何でか？

思うに、このバンドは、高い演奏力を持った知的ミュージシャン集団というレッテルより、どちらかといえば、パンク的な要素の方が強いからではないか。

少なくとも「２１世紀の精神異常者」の演奏は、このあとの第三期クリムゾンより、秀逸な出来栄え。
ボズ・バレルのヴォーカルは文字通り狂っていて、カッコいい。

素晴らしい最悪の(？)ライヴ・アルバム。
