このアルバムはすごく良いです。
シングル曲も良いし、
中孝介に提供した「花」のセルフ・カバーも良いです。
そんな名曲ぞろいのアルバムの中で特に気に入ったのが、
「片足のポー」という曲です。
タイトルに「片足」という言葉が含まれているので、
おそらく、ラジオやテレビでは放送はされないと思います。
身体欠損を扱うのはメデイアではタブー視されているからです。
差別的な意図がなくても、
放送局には、「もし、抗議があったら対応が面倒だ」という意識が根強いようです。
もちろん「片足のポー」という曲は差別的なものではありません。
弱い立場の人間に共感し、温かいまなざしで見つめ、優しく語りかけるような曲なのです。
心が震えるような名曲であり、
森山直太朗と御徒町凧のJ-POP界への大きな問いかけだと思われます。
上記のような理由があり、この曲に触れられる機会は限られていると思うので、
ぜひ、このアルバムを聴いてみて下さい。

シングル３曲は当然のこととして、アルバム最大の聴きどころは「花」のセルフカバーではないでしょうか。元々は中孝介さんへの提供曲ですがむしろ直太朗版の方がシンプルかつクセが少なくていい感じです。アルバム全体として楽曲のクオリティが高く、疲れた時には癒され落ち込んだ時には励まされ、深い歌詞と心に染みむようなメロディが調和して本当に素晴らしい出来です。アルバムタイトルにもなっている「諸君」、少し古風なこの言葉を使って語りかけるような歌詞がとてもいいですね。好みが別れるアーティストですが、今まであまり聴いたことがないという方にも是非聞いてもらいたい一枚です。

いろんな曲調があって大満足でした。
直太朗ってすごいなぁと改めて思います。
シングルじゃない曲もいい！！
今回のアルバム、相当いいですよ。
