【ストーリー概要】
大丈夫、あしたもやさしい風は吹いてます。

惑星改造により生まれた水の惑星、「アクア」。
その観光都市ネオ・ヴェネツィアで皆が憧れる職業は、ゴンドラを操りウンディーネと呼ばれる水先案内人です。
15才の少女、水無灯里(みずなしあかり)はウンディーネになることを夢見て、マンホームからアクアにやって来ました。
その灯里が々修業に励むのは、誉も高い水の3大妖精のひとり、アリシア・フローレンスが経営する水先案内店「ARIAカンパニー」。
姫屋の藍華や、オレンジぷらねっとのアリスと一緒に、悩んだりすることもあるけれど、プリマ・ウンディーネを目指してがんばっています。

3大妖精の一人アテナさんの歌の役をやっていらっしゃった河井英里さんは2008年8月4日に永眠されてARIA The ORIGINATIONが最後の作品となってしまいました。昨年のARIA The CONCERTを私は見にいき、初めて生で聞かせていただきました。とてもいい歌をうたっていらしゃったのですが・・・あらためてご冥福を祈ります。

第8話。

アリスが苦手だった船謌を歌うシーンがあります。

不覚にも涙を流してしまいました。素晴らしい曲・演出・そして構成。

あとはみなさんの目でお確かめください。

収録内容は、
第８話「その　大切な人の記憶に…」
第９話「その　オレンジの風につつまれて…」
という事で、アリスのプリマ昇格試験のお話です。

原作でストーリーは知っていましたが、
不覚にも感動して泣いてしまいました。

カンツォーネを歌う部分がが原作では仕方が無いのですが、
音符のみの表現でしたが、
思い出の映像と共に、アリスが歌うので、（結構上手い）
いろいろと思い出されてきて感動します。

またアテナ先輩の手袋を取るときのシーンが秀逸で、
原作は右手からはずすのですが、
TVアニメは左手からですが、映像的にはこちらの方がよくて、
その後の右手の手袋をゆっくりとはずすシーンがすごくいきてきます。
またアテナ先輩（川上とも子さん）のしゃべり方が上手く、感動的です。

原作が好きな方も、かなり楽しめると思いますので、
見る価値が有ります。
