アーティストについて
1978年宮崎県生まれ。8歳よりギターを始め、日本を代表するギタリスト福田進一に師事。高校卒業と同時に渡仏。パリ・コンセルバトワール(国立高等音楽院)に第1位で入学。98年、ハバナ国際ギター・コンクールで2位及びレオ・ブローウェル賞を受賞し、国内外より脚光を浴びる。00年9月、アルバム「11月のある日」デビュー。03年2月アメリカのワシントン・ケネディ・センターでの初公演は、インターネットにより全世界に同時配信された。05年キューバの音楽見本市「CUBADISCO2005」にクラシック・ギタリストとしては日本人で初めて招聘され,キューバ国立交響楽団、セナイダ・ロメウ指揮でアランフェス協奏曲を演奏し、大成功を収めた。06年5月、コロンビアのボゴタで開催された「コンペンサール・ギターフェスティバル」にソリストとして招聘、07年4月に行なわれた初の韓国・ソウル公演など、地元のファンを魅了し大成功を収めた。これまでに8枚のCD、2枚のDVDをリリースし、国内外に活動を展開。ジャズギタリスト渡辺香津美や小沼ようすけらとも共演を行っており、ジャンルを越えて活躍している。
