いろいろと話題にあがっているチベットでロケされた力作です。内容は、財産目当ての政略結婚から発展する闘争劇で、クンフー映画にありがちな単純な復讐劇と違い、なかなか面白いです。アンジェラ・マオ、タン・トゥリャンのコンビ対チェン・シンによるラストのバトルは、とても見応えのある仕上がりです。出演者リストにジャッキー・チェンの名前がありますが、スタントマンとしての参加以外に、ほんのちょっとジャッキーの顔がはっきりと画面に映る程度のものなので、ジャッキー・チェン目当てでの購入は、コアなファン以外は避けましょう。でも、ジャッキー出演につられて購入しても、十分に楽しめる作品であることは確かです。
