子どもが使って故障しても惜しくない型落ち製品を安く手に入れたかったのですが十分すぎる性能です。
アルカリ乾電池とニッケル水素充電池が使えて710万画素と画素数も十分、また光学ズームも3.4倍と、さらに顔認識機能までついて申し分なし。
こういう世代交代の早い製品は値崩れした型落ち製品を格安で手に入れるに限りますね。

店頭にて同価格帯の機種と比べて購入しました。買った決め手は…

・起動の早さが際立っている
電源ボタンを押すと同時にレンズが出てきて、すぐに撮影ができます。
シャッタースピードも早く、押した瞬間を撮影できていると感じました。

・ズームしてもブレない
3倍光学ズームではもちろん、デジタルズームを使用してもブレが少なく撮影できます。
デジタルズーム使用時は、液晶モニタに映る画像が粗めですが、
いざシャッターを押すときれいに撮れているのでご心配なく。

・モード切り替えがシンプルで入門機として最適
モードスイッチで、カメラ撮影・ビデオ撮影・閲覧モードを切り替えます。
まずはここさえ分かれば使い始められるシンプルさが良いです。

初めてデジカメを購入する方や、
予算を抑えてデジカメを買い替えたい方にオススメです。

感覚的に操作もでき、あまり操作書を見ない私としてはとても使いやすいカメラです。
少し、重いかな？という感じもしますが、その分手ブレがしなくなるので、その所は
割り切っています。
昨年発売されたカメラ（シルバーは今年だが機能の変更はない）であるが、
型遅れ感はまったくしなく、むしろ安く購入できたということがGoodでした。
800万画素あれば十分（私的に1000万画素以上必要は無いと思っている。）なので、
購入してとても良かったと思っています。
