こういう専用のって、ハンドメイドするとき持ってると気分あがるんですが、
ぶっちゃけあまり使えません（＾＾；

物がどうこうではなく、ハンドメイドコスメってしっかり混ぜるというのが多いので、その際には小さいサイズの泡立て器がもっとも便利なんです。（とくに乳液・クリームなど）

実際、これで混ぜると同じぐらいの時間混ぜても分離してしまいましたし・・・

見た目きれいなので普通のマドラーとして活躍してもらいます・・・

クリームを作る時に、油脂に暖めた水分を少しずつ混ぜるのに、理科の実験よろしくガラス棒に伝わせながら入れると、一度に大量に混ぜ込んで分離してしまう、ということが防げます。

また、水分の多いクリームを作る場合に、空気をあまり入れずに混ぜ合わせたい（夏場などは、作る時にミニ泡だて器を使うほうがカビたり腐りやすい気がする）場合などによくつかいます。

最近気が付いた有効な使い方は、ダマを作りたくないとき。
チタンなどの色素の粉を油分に混ぜる時は、ガラス棒でビーカーの底に粉の塊を押し付けるようにしてつぶすと、分量を無駄にせず、綺麗に混ざります。
根気はいりますが、今のところ、だまだまをつぶす適当なものがないです。
料理のダマつぶしに使う愛用のターナーは、ビーカーにはいりませんし　(^^;)
今、先がシリコン製の小型のゴムベラもあるようですが、何も考えずに煮沸消毒ができるので、私はガラス棒かな。

このため、しっかり力を伝えられて、かつ、手が疲れないだけの長さがある方がお勧めです。
菜ばしほどの長さは不要ですが、シャープペンサイズよりは鉛筆よりすこし長いくらいの長さがある方が使い勝手がいいです。
