　単純で面白い。内容が明確なのがいい。買っても損はないとおもいますよ。
　ミュージカルというよりは歌ってる映画という印象もうけました。ミュージカル
　映画という枠にいれると酷評かもしれませんが、映画としては面白い。長さをあん
　まり感じさせなかった。

劇中劇"Springtime for Hitler"や"I wanna be a producer"など良い曲が多く退屈しませんでした。

ただ一つ、訳者がナチスドイツの戦史を理解しているのか疑問です。
RHINELAND'S A FINE LAND ONCE MORE!という歌詞が
『ライン河が流れるこの国に栄光がよみがえる』と訳されています。
ヴェルサイユ条約に反して、フランス国境ラインラントに進駐したことなどは重要な出来事の一つですから、
この場合ラインラントは辞書的な意味「ライン川沿岸の一帯を指す地方」以上の意味を持ちます。
そのラインラントをナチ軍人が、もう一度素晴らしい土地にしようと歌っているのですから、とんでもなくブラックユーモアの効いた歌詞ですよね。
この訳者のぼやけた訳で面白さが半減しているのが残念です。

ミュージカル作品が好きなので買ってみた作品なのですが、私はあまり好きになれませんでした。

笑わせよう笑わせようという大げさな演技がちょっと私の好みではなかったという事もありますが、
一番の原因は、どのシーンもくどい事です。くどくどと面白くない歌を長々と歌い、話がちっとも前に進まない。レオが会計士を辞めてプロデューサーになると決心した時の歌"I wanna be a producer"に、なんと10分以上も費やしたり。最後にマックスが刑務所の中で今までのあらすじを一通り歌って説明したあのシーンも必要なかったし。

面白く印象に残るような歌が無かったのが致命的かも。“面白くて大ヒットした”という設定の劇中ミュージカルもいまいち面白さに欠けたし。

レオが２億ドルを持ち逃げ出来た事や、裁判でマックスの弁護をできたこと、恩赦が降りた事など、設定にあまりにもリアリティーが名さ過ぎるのも一因でした。

ただ、おかまさんがヒットラーを演じた時の腰のくねくね具合と、もう1人のおかまさんの下まつげは大好きです。
