コルビーを知るきっかけになったのは、「BUBBLY」でした。
アルバムを買ってもっと好きになりました。
好きだな〜、このリズム＋声＋ギターの感じ・・・。
α波のような
力が抜けるような心地良さです。

歌詞にも共感、こんな素直な頃もあったなーと。

かなり安い輸入盤もあり、びっくりしましたが
日本版にはボーナストラック２つ「Dream　Collide」と「Circles」ついてます。

最近はまってるんです。

アメリカのカリフォルニア州にあるリゾート地マリブビーチ出身の２２歳のシンガーソングライター。

小麦肌と笑顔がかなりタイプです+｡:.ﾟヽ(*'∀`)ﾉﾟ.:｡+ﾟ ジャケ買いでしたが、曲もよかったです♪
昼下がりにFMラジオから流れてくるようなゆったりとした曲は、まさにリゾート気分！！

自宅にいながら、グアムでレンタカー借りてドライブした気分になります♪
ドライブのお供にもぜひ♪

０７年の夏には海外でリリースされていて、
ヒット・チャートに入り、シングルもＰＶも３曲も公開されていて、
実に八ヶ月を掛けて、遂に国内盤が発売されました・・・

国内盤には、
２曲のボーナス・トラックと、「Bubbly」のＰＶがエンハンスドで入っています。

発売前のイベントで、渋谷DUO-Exchangeでのプライヴェイト・ライブを観ました。
彼女含め３人のギターと１人のパーカッション、計４人編成のライブでしたが、
実に気持ちが良く、素敵で美しいライブ・パフォーマンスでした。

彼女自身の人柄というのか、持っている雰囲気が、
そのままこのアルバムに収録されているのでしょう。
「柔らかな太陽」という感じで、良い曲ばかり・・・
春から夏にかけては、特に合うように思います。

共同プロデューサーのケン・コルビー（彼女の父親）は、
フリートウッド・マックの名プロデューサーでもありました。
ナチュラルで飾り気が無い様でいて、
楽器やアレンジなど、ピリッとエッセンスが効いた音創りは、さすがです。

とにかく久々のお奨めです。
是非、聴いてみて下さい。
