デビュー作の成功がプレッシャ−にならないようにと祈っていたが、登場した本作を聞いてそれが杞憂だと安心できた。彼ららしい正面からのポップス指向が満開のサウンド、デビュー作の瑞々しさに、風格と懐の広さが加わった傑作だと思います。

ビートルズからウィングス、１０ＣＣ、クイーン、ＥＬＯ、エルトン・ジョンあたりに共通な、多彩な音楽性と珠玉のメロディセンスを、見事なまでの分かりやすさとロックを根底に秘めた骨太のサウンドでデコレートした彼らの王道ポップスは、ただオシャレなだけでもなく、ただ甘いだけでもない。クイーン大好きの私の趣味でいえば、このザ・フィーリングとＭＩＫＡが英国のアーティストでは抜きんでて魅力的だ。

若い世代のリスナーはもちろん、私のような７０年代のロック黄金時代を知っている人にも聞いてほしい作品だ。

傑出したメロディセンスもさることながら、前作に引き続き、いや、前回よりもさらに磨きがかかったコーラスワークはより一層心地よさを演出している。
また前作よりもストリングスが豊富に組み込まれ、音の深みが増している。
個人的には「Turn it up」が一番気に入っている。
出だしのギターとドラムのビートから一気に彼らの世界に引き込まれる。
Don't say anything, You're talking but you dont say anything....

良い歌詞だなあ。
とにかく、美メロ好きには必ずお勧めしたい一枚。
今回初めてThe Feelingを聞くという人も、この2作目から聞くのもいいのではないか、と思えるくらい、捨て曲なしのナンバーが揃う良作。
