5.0 out of 5 stars ムックの進化, 2008/3/30
ヴォーカルに関してはアルバムを出すごとに上達が見られますが、若干ストレートな歌い方になったという印象を受けました。しかしながら、彼独特の歌い回しの豊富さ、地の底から這上がるようなデスヴォイスは健在です。

狙っているのでしょうが若干ヴォーカルの声が聴こえ辛い為、ヘッドフォンで聴くことをオススメします。

歌謡、メタル、ダンス、民族音楽の融合。重く、マニアック。私にはとても売れ線狙いのアルバムだとは思えませんが。

現在行われている海外ツアーでは良いものを沢山吸収して来て欲しいですね。
これからの活動、更なる進化に期待です。

最後に、歌詞にも注目してみて下さい。

様々なことに挑戦しているということだけあって。
打ち込みや歌詞カードの英訳だったり、今までとはガラリと異なる。
このバンドには少ない、ファルセットが酷使されている曲。
なかなか凝っていて、個人的には凄く面白いアルバムだと思う。
しかしそれだけファンからの反応も両極端と言える。

一つ言うとすればフライトがあきらかに浮いていること。
曲調･質感共に、このアルバムへ収録した必要性があまり感じられない。


初期ムックのようなドロドロ感に対してとは違う意味になるけれど、
売れ線狙いのアルバムではないと思う。むしろ逆じゃないかとも。

5.0 out of 5 stars ”Ｖ系ノンジャンル”の好例, 2008/4/12
ムックは海外に通用するブルータリティを持っている！と感激してファンになったが、
今回はメタルテイストを期待すると痛い目に遭うアルバムでした。その分、新境地の
曲が非常に面白い。でも・・・打ち込みにマッチさせたスネアのポスポス感と、雰囲気
重視のヴォーカルのリヴァーブがいただけない。個人的にはザクザク切り裂く音質が魅力
だったので、サウンドに関しては消化不良気味。しかし今回のチャレンジは賞賛に値する。
「誰が型にはめてくれなんて頼んだ？」って聞こえてきそう。”こうあるべきだ”なんて
彼らが決める自由。聴く側もまた選ぶ自由がある、って改めて痛感する一枚。次にどんな
要素を吸収し、発信してくれるか俄然楽しみになった。
